Fruits, vegetables, and berries come in various shapes and sizes—just like humans do. However, unlike with people, we don't often see diverse-looking produce in stores. As it turns out, produce is held to strict and unrealistic "beauty" standards which result in tremendous amounts of perfectly edible vegetables and fruits being thrown away or fed to livestock. Yet from time to time, some of the ugly and imperfect veggies slide past the strict evaluation process and end up in stock. Unused to the sight, many customers avoid buying them; however, those who buy food online don't always have the opportunity to see what they'll get. That's why when a Twitter user named Naomi ordered 1 kg of sweet potatoes, she was surprised to get one mutant potato she called "PotatoZilla." Inspired by this funny incident, we decided to gather a list of sizeable units people got when ordering produce. Check them all out below!

I shop at a store called Hanarum Mart (H Mart), and their carrots are always gigantic like this. Makes them easy to chop.

"Solo garlic, also known as single clove garlic, monobulb garlic, single bulb garlic, or pearl garlic, is a type of Allium sativum (garlic). The size of the single clove differs from approximately 25 to 50 mm in diameter. It has the flavour of the garlic clove but is somewhat milder and slightly perfumed." (Wikipedia)

Nah, just one. I add at least half a bulb to any single meal anyway. I hate vampires :D

The ONLY time it would be acceptable to use one clove of garlic in a recipe.

If your recipe says anything about "... mince and add four cloves of garlic ...", DON'T DO IT!!!

Starving and injured, this old dog is seized from the brink of death 3th Imagine being so hungry you can barely move. Weak, miserable and aching with every movement, pleading to those around you for help. This was Charlie’s existence. Sadly, the majority of Charlie’s life was a struggle. A sweet Staffordshire dog whose eyes said it all. Suffering, suffering and more suffering. Charlie shortly after seizure My name is Cheryl Doudle and I have been an inspector at RSPCA South Australia for seven years. Animal cruelty cases are never easy, but some tend to stay with you more than others. Charlie is one of those cases for me. A call to our cruelty report hotline sparks awful discovery The first time RSPCA South Australia received a call about Charlie from a concerned member of the public, we arrived at the Sefton Park home to discover two slightly underweight, but reasonably healthy dogs. We were relieved that it wasn’t one of ‘those’ cases Any help Please pay to this address Bitcoin

Apparently the grocery workers don’t like us. The other day we got a big potato shaped like a bowling pin and complete with a huge black pit in the bottom. Peeling it was a nightmare... 😂
