“Daddy Changed The World”: George Floyd’s 6-Year-Old Daughter Was Filmed Paying A Heart-melting Tribute To Her Dad
As the whole world marches calling for an end to the systematic racism and police brutality that has claimed the life of George Floyd, his friends and family members urge us to not forget the life he left behind. One big part of it is his 6-year-old daughter Gianna. The little girl was recently captured in a heart-melting video saying that her dad has changed the world. “‘My Daddy Changed The World!!!’ When You Remember George Floyd Make Sure You Remember This Beautiful Soul That He Left Behind,” director Skrptz captioned the video he took of her.

The bodycam footage revealed that her 46-year-old father was killed during an arrest over an allegedly counterfeit $20 bill when now-former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin held his knee on Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes. The footage also revealed that Chauvin kept the knee on Floyd’s neck for nearly 2 minutes after the man became unresponsive.

His unjust death didn’t go unnoticed. The footage quickly spread online and sparked a wave of countrywide protests.

Once again, the Black Lives Matter movement, which began in 2013 as a response to 17-year-old African-American high school student Trayvon Martin’s death, is making powerful headlines across the world.
On Tuesday, Gianna’s mother Roxie Washington attended a press conference in Minneapolis demanding justice for George Floyd. “At the end of the day, they get to go home and be with their families. Gianna does not have a father. He will never see her grow up, graduate. He will never walk her down the aisle. If there’s a problem she is having and she needs her dad, she doesn’t have that anymore,” the grieving woman said.

Later, Jackson was filmed in a heartfelt video carrying Gianna on his shoulders with her saying: “My daddy changed the world.” However, the girl doesn’t know yet that her father was killed by police officers. Yesterday, when she and her mom appeared on Good Morning America, Washington said: “I told her her dad died because he couldn’t breathe.”

It has been revealed that the police officer Derek Chauvin, who has since been fired, has been detained and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter.

Yep, he changed the world. David Dorn, 77, Missouri: The retired St. Louis police captain was killed by people looting a p**n shop after midnight on Tuesday, according to authorities. After serving on the St. Louis police force for 38 years, Dorn, who was black, took a job as a small-town police chief. Dorn was reportedly a friend of the p**n shop’s owner and would check on it when alarms went off.
This is so sweet, yet also so sad. When I first read Gianna, I thought about the Bryants. Little Gianna doesn't understand how her daddy changed the world exactly. Prayers to the Floyd family. Gianna your daddy was a brave man. Know that.
Stop it with the fact that he committed crimes. He served his time, possibly extra because of his skin color, so thats over. The fact that he had to die along with many others (Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, Breonna Taylor) is the only thing that we should be focused on. Do not get mad at social media shining light on his unjust murder. If all you can see of George Floyd is a criminal, then you shouldn't pay attention.
I hope his daughter can forgive daddy george for his rap sheet which includes breaking into the home of a pregnant black woman and threatening to shoot her in the belly( eg the unborn child in case you can't figure it) for money George floyd should never have died the way he did( no one should regardless of colour) but now he will never have to deal with the shame he would face from his child( a soon to be young woman) for the way he has mistreated women and threatened them. if you want to glorify his death for some cause( including looting) then go ahead, but all you are doing is shining a spotlight on his nasty violent behaviour( he used to pistol whip women as well.. go look it up). george floyd will forever be remembered as the man who was unjustly killed and his name hijacked and associated with looting and BLM hypocrisy. When you can find video of blacks condemning BLM for not caring( not actioning ) about black on black crime, running a money racketeering go fund me
Yesterday I learned that he was an a*****e to women and a criminal. That said, cops killed him in a brutal way that no one deserves; not to mention they probably did not know (?) his previous crimes while arresting him, so the prejudice against black men was still there.
.. And cue the downvotes from the virtue signalling sheep who thinks Floyd was a sweetheart. Bored panda.. Are you planning on becoming MSM? Because you certainly practise the same poor due diligence of journalism.
You seem like a character yourself and still you have the right to live your life like any of us without fear of getting killed over nothing. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Kids are wary toward parents with irrational behavior, and he used drugs. Children don't always know what's going on, but the changed behavior and mood swings scare them.
Load More Replies...Yes and no. There are billions people on earth, none of us are important to those outside or circle until we do something notable. Unfortunately, his notable act was getting murdered in the street by a corrupt cop.
