My Parents Have Lived In Their Home For Over 10 Years, This Was The First Time Anything Like This Had Happened
My parents live along the bank of the Deschutes River in Bend Oregon. During the summer they open up the doors to allow the cool, calm breeze to flow through their home. On this day they, they had a lot more than a breeze roll through. I parade of Canada Geese and their juvenile goslings decided to take a tour of their home.
They did so in a single file line entering from the rear of the home and walking straight through to the front door. Quite a few of them even left “gifts” for my parents as they passed by. My parents have lived in their home for over ten years, this was the first time anything like this had happened.

Geese poop constantly, and if you get some on your floor, clean it up FAST. It's full of ammonia and will melt artificial floors and permanently bleach wood, slate, or marble.
well, it is quite normal. as long as we (humans) keep invading wild animals' real habitat, they will invade our, so called houses :D LOL!!
Good thing Mom stood out of the way. Canadian geese are so mean, the rest of Canadians double time their nice just balance them out

they must NEVER interfere - there is a hotel in Florida that is only still in business because a family of ducks does the same thing there & people stay there just to see it.
I live in Redmond, OR, and yes, Canada geese are everywhere! Cute pics, I hope they enjoyed the tour!
