Dachshunds were bred to fight underground animals in their burrows but this particular wiener adapted his natural born tunneling talents to something much more useful above the ground. As it turns out, Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund is an excellent garden helper – he can easily dig a hole wherever his human asks, making the whole planting process as easy as pie. Who needs a shovel when you have this little sausage? To find out what other adventures Crusoe embarks upon, check out his book Crusoe, the Celebrity Dachshund: Adventures of the Wiener Dog Extraordinaire.

I tried gardening with my wiener. Let me tell you, a hoe is much more effective lol
Thank you...a beautiful bit of video that brought me a great big smile.
My Doxie, Willie (RIP), used to help me & my mom pick the Swiss chard & collard greens in her little garden. He would position himself on the other side of each row from where we were. At first we saw the leaves of each plant moving mysteriously...he had to really pull to break one off! Then he would proceed to eat them. Hilarious clowns, those wiener doggies! BTW: they do not like to be called "wieners!" LOL! :D
What happens when he starts digging holes around the rest of your garden. And you can't really scold him as you encouraged him to dig holes
I had a dog like that when I was little. I used him to dig tunnels to play in with my matchboxes or little soldiers. He was my best buddy
I probly would not be able to grow anything this way, but still quality time with your dog is priceless!
