People Are Having Mixed Feelings About Gal Gadot’s Montage Of 25 Celebrities Singing ‘Imagine’ While In Self-Isolation
Many of us are going through major changes in our day to day lives due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Health organizations and governments all over the world are suggesting people self-isolate or at least keep social distancing. Therefore, it’s no surprise that people seek to keep connections and attempt to make the best of the situation while also uplifting the spirits of others.
Since no one gets a free pass with the virus, even celebrities are staying home behind closed doors and are trying to figure out the best ways to keep in touch with their audiences and also to spread some cheer along with meaningful, uplifting messages. Gal Gadot is amongst them with her latest Instagram post where she shared a montage of her and a bunch of her celebrity friends (among them Natalie Portman, Amy Adams, Mark Ruffalo, Jimmy Fallon, Sia, and many others) singing John Lennon’s “Imagine”.
Gal Gadot recently shared a video montage of her and 24 celebrity pals singing John Lennon’s famous song “Imagine”
Gadot shared that the last few days in self-isolation got her feeling a little bit philosophical, since this novel virus has affected the whole world. “Doesn’t matter who you are, where you are from, we’re all in this together,” she said. She came up with the idea for making this video montage of her and her celebrity friends singing “Imagine” by John Lennon after seeing a video of an Italian man playing this song on a trumpet in his balcony, for other quarantined people to hear and enjoy. “It was something so powerful and pure,” Gadot said.

Share on FacebookIt's a song about total equality, about giving up money and ego and living in sync with nature, love and freedom. Feel free to hate me but what a bunch of ultra privileged, extremely rich people know about how others live? Especially now. Locket up in their 500ft apartments, some going to work, some lost a job, wondering how to survive, some working their a** off to help others. When I see these rich and privileged people helping others I will be impressed. But this is just being a poser. It means nothing.
Yeah, it's disgusting. And so insanely cringe. Oh my god.

Because singing a song is definetely helping people more than donating a portion of your millions to people that are struggling or to fund some hospital.
I would rather lick every handle of every trolley in my local supermarket than listen to this pathetic attempt to stay relevant again. The way they have purposely made themselves look dowdy or suffering while they chill in their large houses with Cinema rooms, Swimming pools, etc., while the rest of us get on with it is repugnant and condescending and only serves to show the gulf between the haves and have not's. When this inevitably backfires I hope they have a long hard look at themselves and try to provide something of value to society during this hard time.
Yeah, let's do the song by the rich guy who beat women and mentally abused his son.
Thank you for saying this. John Lennon was not a good guy - by his own admission, in his own words. "I used to be cruel to my woman, and physically... any woman. I was a hitter. I couldn't express myself and I hit. I fought men and I hit women. That is why I am always on about peace, you see. It is the most violent people who go for love and peace. "

Some of us may live paycheck to paycheck wondering how we're going to feed our kids at the end of this month. So it's reassuring to have a bunch of people swimming in money to say, "I know you're hurting financially right now. Here's a us singing karaoke to make it all better. And remember...We have early access to testing that you don't. Enjoy!"
Imagine you don't have the best insurance in the world, Imagine you don't get first dibs on the covid-19 test, Imagine you don't get treated better because you are rich...It's not so easy if you try.....So sing your pedantic little song if it makes you feel better, but just know, the public at large, think you are massive hypocrites.
Good song, horrible and self righteous rendition. Every single one of them looks full of themselves. I’m not going to be any meaner than that, but just.. gross.
Yeah. Imagine if scientists would be popular celebrities instead of these guys...
Propaganda for communism that’s all it is. Just like this so called killer virus. It’s a way to get control. The whole world is so brainwashed that it gives up their freedom for a influenza because their governments tell them to. Trust me the government will sin own everything and you can’t have any possessions.
If people finally turn on Gal Gadot (who isn't even an actress, and was one of the least inspiring choices possible to play Wonder Woman), then this will have all been worth it.
well shes not self absorbed like most celebrities. she is inspiring, actually, youve just never bothered looking up instead of just commenting on people turning against people

To me, if someone does it from their balcony, for their neighbors, I like it and I'm "this person is nice and trying to help". If it's recorded to be put online, celebrities or not, I'm like "this is cringy and they're just trying to attract attention to themselves and pretend to be good people".
How about doing what Jesus (who obviously never existed according to that song) says, Sell your possessions and give to the poor (look 12:33)
Hey face is so annoying I didn't even listen to the singing. Celebs will do anything for attention even in quarantine.
Everyone of these parasites is Jewish and there is no race of people on earth who LIE like the Jews.
Wow, Brett - you are certainly a racist pig. Aren't you due back in Germany, circa 1940?
