Since I've watched the Back To The Future movies, I have been hoping time travel would appear in my life in one way or another. It finally did. Futurism, an online magazine, produces weekly cartoon sketches that imagine the everyday life of tomorrow, and it's as close to an 88mph DeLorean ride as anything can be.

There are three people working on the series. Luke Kingma (concept, copy, art direction), Lou Patrick Mackay (illustration), and Jacob Banas (social media). "In a broad sense, we are exploring humanity’s relationship with technology, both now and in the future," Kingma told Bored Panda. "Part of that is giving people a glimpse of what tomorrow could look like at a personal level: the good, the bad, the absurd. Occasionally, we like to comment on science fiction culture, and on political matters, because we just can't help ourselves."

No themes are off the table. "In many cases, we are looking at emerging technologies that are still in development, and asking, 'What might happen next?'" the artist added. "Other times, we are taking something we find interesting or funny about humans, and asking, 'How would this play out with robots?'" Scroll down to step into the brave new world of Futurism, and upvote your favorite pieces!

This one reminds me once when I was at a restaurant with my husband. There was a girl sitting not far from our table. She was taking those "meal selfies" with her tablet. The screen was big enough for me to recognise myself in the background of her camera. You know what I did? Well, I smiled and posed, of course. ♥ (she noticed soon after and turned to a different angle mwhahaahah)

This one is not as bad as it seems. If we can use VR technology to navigate through dangerous places in space why not use them? Since we can always replace a drone or robot.

Bullsh*t! She's not a real stay-at-home worker if she's still wearing her pants...

Interesting take on this idea in the book "Oath of Fealty" by Larry Niven.

Humanity is already an existential threat to itself. What's the big deal? Things stay the same in the end.

The problem with cloning pets is that people don't realize the clone will almost never look or act like the original. The genes recombine differently. The DNA may be the same, but the genes that actually get expressed may not be the same. And unless you raise the animal in the exact same way as the original it will have a different personality.

"I think, therefor I am" - Cogito, ergo sum. Past that everything is open to interpretation. we all may be very well living in simulator.

People these days dump each and every thing about their lives on internet, and then cry of data privacy laws not strong. Recently my friend shared such a anti-Facebook post on his wall, and interestingly I exactly knew from his check-ins where he went for food and fun for last many days. Then he complains why Facebook is showing him suggestion for restaurants.

There's a lesson to learn for everyone from what is happening at Capetown. If a advanced city like that can come to such fate, no one is safe.

I would never do that, Mars is so bleak, and earth is so beautiful. And as the scientific history tells us, mother nature will take only so much from us before going back to dinosaurs again. She would be like, ok enough, lets reset and start from scratch. No offense to religious people who think god put 2 white people on earth and they made rest of 7 billion of us and considering the amount of inbreeding, very few retards.

Well, if robot bees help pollinate somehow, I'm all for them. And I'm guessing people with make the robot bees without stingers, so that'd eliminate the small bee sting allergy problem.
