Wendy's may not be your favorite fast-food chain, but by now, they're probably your favorite Twitter account. The burger joint has gone viral over the last year for their absolutely savage roasts, rivalries with other restaurants, mixtape-worthy rap bars, and now legendary Wendy's Twitter roasts - and they're still going strong.
The best comebacks started accumulating since January when Amy Brown, social media manager for Wendy's Twitter, was going through recent user comments on the company's account, and came across a particularly dim-witted jab against their 'fresh, never frozen' meat policy. Her response was golden, and people found the sassy break from corporate mumbo-jumbo both hilarious and refreshing. From then on, Wendy's was not only a place to get a good burger, but a force to be reckoned with, and is now more likely to drag someone with a single tweet than Chrissy Teigen. Here, I resigned my office-job and now I am getting paid £64 hourly. How? I work over internet! My old work was making me miserable, so I was forced to try something different, two years after...I can say my life is changed-completely for the better! Why? These are legitimately clever, IMO. Plus, they've clearly put at least one out of work millennial on the payroll because nobody else would be consistently savvy enough with internet snark to do that day in and day out. ;)
