Feminism should never be seen as pretentious gals with hairy armpits demanding for more than they could take; feminism should be seen as common sense, because only by common sense we can start to see, that men and women are, indeed, equal. Equal not in the understanding of sheer physical capabilities, but rather in making the same choices and expecting for the same outcomes as men get. And whatever your views are, it's hard not to admire feminists when they are making statements and the best jokes in such a badass manner as in these funny Tumblr posts below.

Bored Panda has scrolled through the depths of Tumblr, collecting hilarious jokes that advocate of women's rights have laid out while remaining completely on-point. Some are savagely destroying articles in the media, some are taking down popular beliefs, but all of these claims and funny jokes will put a smile on your face. Scroll down to enjoy the entries, vote for your favorites and check out our previous posts about feminism and hilariously funny women here and here.

She is absolutely right about tge conservative men, but it surely is not 100%. Such simplifications are totally unfair to women who are forced to abort or who's live situation give them no choice although they would want to have the baby. Mocking them by putting them into the 100% does not help .

Maybe not all women who get abortions WANT to get them, but are they grateful they're able to get them when they need to? You bet. The alternative is often a high risk of death.

are you sure that women that don't want to have a child, should still get it- just for punishment?? Who exactly would you guess, will have to endure the consequences? Not only this mom that will rase a child with constant regrets, but the child itself, that will feel that it is an unwanted accident. And don't bet on the fact, that a mother automatically will develop enough love, for a child that means lifelong responsibility and sacrifice, against her choice. What would you say to those unloved children? -" Well sorry but your mom didn't use protection- you're her punishment." ??

Hahahahaha! I love this one. Had a conversation during our family Mother's Day get together about this topic. I was telling them about a conversation I had with an ultra conservative christian woman in one of my groups (think Duggar-like) who is militantly pro-life. I explained to this person that being pro-choice (me) doesn't mean I am "pro abortion" it means I don't feel I have the right to tell ANY woman what she can and cannot do with her own body. We're not the best of friends.

Some polls show that a non-trivial portion of women are against the right to choose, and a non-trivial portion of men (myself included) are for the right to choose.

Since someone got upset and removed my comment then distorted what I said, I will continue my comment elsewhere. "Men do know what it's like giving birth, because there are simultations to interpret birth pain- that neither i, nor any man ever participated. But that's why we would like to have a say when it comes to abortions...sincerely, all reasonable men." So many double standarts in one sentence, my uterus is spinning." Simulations* Standards* I said that there are SOME of us that know what it's like, and using pain to justify not giving the father a voice when it comes to abortions just shows how double-standard YOU are. My comment got lots of negative feedback from upset feminists, so let me clarify: Stop denying males their rights to their own children. Stop acting like all the difficulty of having children falls on you. Stop pretending that women can do whatever they want with the child even though 50% of the child's DNA belongs to the father. Welcome to reality. :)

Sorry but do males get pregnant and have to carry kids around while feeling tremendous pain? Yeah, I didn't think so. Maybe if the child was inside of you, you might have a different look. But this is the way it is, and if a women has to get an abortion to save her own health, then you just have to deal. Funny how you care more about a fetus than the women that have to carry them. I wonder what that says about your true colors, other than the fact that you're an asshole

Dude, seriously... The woman doesn't "carry" the child like you would, carrying it in your arms once it's born. She's *creating* the baby with her own body - feeding it continuously. It's robbing her body of calcium in such a high volume that in most women it will never be fully replenished. It's also displacing her organs and bending her spine because of how big it becomes inside of her, causing all sorts of troubles in the short (during pregnancy) and in the (life-)long term, such as (short:) constipation, sensitive bladder, acid reflux, digestive and respiratory troubles, back pain... (long): incontinence (25% of women!), ruptured transverse abdominal muscle, back pain, permanently cramped muscles in the pelvic floor = painful sex, ruptured anus (!!), vaginal prolapse (40-60% of women! This means the uterus, urethra, bladder, or rectum to droop down into the vagina. If the pelvic floor muscles weaken enough, these can even protrude out of the vagina!!) Welcome to reality, indeed...

100% of abortions are performed on tiny humans who didn't wish to be killed. [I'm not against all abortions. But there has to be a solid ethical basis.]

Random Panda
Community Member

First of all a woman is an autonomous human being and if she doesn't want to grow a baby inside her body, she doesn't need any reason beyong "I don't want to". Second of all, most abortions are performed before an embryo has developed a nervous system and a brain. It's not a human yet. Abortions performed at a later stage of the pregnancy are done because the foetus is not viable and poses a health risk for the mother.

The irony of abortion is that a woman that supports the choice to have an abortion may indeed have one, thereby not producing a child that supports choice. Whereas a woman that opposes free choice in abortion will have an offspring that, at least in the beginning, oppose a womans right to choose. It's a numbers game which is probably why this is still an issue in this day and age.

The difference is did you already gestate. It’s a matter of what’s in the womb not, did you have sex intending to have a child. I’m prolife but I think birth control is fine because youre taking control so you don’t have a child. But if you have a child, you shouldn’t be aborting it. Life is still life, no matter what form the child is in

No, it's not. Most abortions are performed before an embryo has developed a nervous system and a brain. It's not a human yet, it's not alive. Abortions performed at a later stage of the pregnancy are done because the foetus is not viable and poses a health risk for the mother. It's nt going to live either way.

Nope. Abortion is murder unless it's a serious health risk. Not because you had sex and don't want to take responsibility for what you did. So many families would love to have your child but instead you kill it because you don't want to "give up your social life" 18 DAYS after conception the baby has a heartbeat. Woman who have abortions have to go through the same therapy as a women who has a miscarriage.

blahblahblah

You can't murder something that isn't alive. A fetus needs to come to term and be born in order to be "murdered."

I was taking a cultural diversity class once and the muscular, 6'2" instructor stated that white women crossed the street when they saw him walking their way because they feared black men. I asked him if black women did the same thing and he said he'd never noticed. I asked him to pay attention and tell us at the next class. Turns out they did, which spun his worldview. I explained that most women confronted with a large, unknown male will put a safe distance between them as a matter of self-preservation. He honestly could not comprehend that women who did not know him had no way of knowing he was nice. Next class, he told us he started crossing the street when he saw lone women heading toward him, and many of them made eye contact and nodded. He was amazed that a little change like that made him less threatening.

That is intensely stupid. I hold doors. Here’s the etiquette. If someone is directly behind you, hold the door so it doesn’t slam them in the face. If someone is carrying a heavy load, hold the door for them. If someone can’t manage the door on their own (disabled, senior, on crutches, whatever), HOLD THE DOOR!........ This is 100% gender neutral. EVERYONE should do this. it’s basic good manners. ....And ladies, if any man whines about it, let go of the door before they can grab it.

Okay. So there are two ways one can look at this. One can either focus on "girls that are anit-feminist" OR on "anti-feminist just to be considered chill by guys". And at least going through comments I think we all understand feminism is about gender quality and not putting either of the gender down. So be kind to each other and understand that same thing can be viewed from different perspectives and still believe in same thing.

He probably should have kept his mouth shut about the whole thing and just enjoyed her company.

Patriarchy is largely societal problem, not a men problem. Some of the most vile, disgusting things I've ever heard said to a woman where said by another (usually much older) woman. One of the most bitter arguments I've ever had with my mother was when she told my 12 year old niece to "stop wearing outfits like that, cause people who wear crap like that deserve to get raped." Still, I dislike the term because its etymology implies men alone are the problem, which isn't true. That those most fond of the term tend to be misandrists doesn't help it either.
