The supermarket, just like the subway or the airport , is a place where life unfolds in the most natural way. In fact, it captures the human experience so well, you can even sometimes feel as if you aren't shopping, but watching a play.
There's Sam from the Night's Watch in the lead role of a cashier, a "Nana Slicer" on a shelf, competing for the most intense prop design award ever, and a couple getting married in the garden section at a local Walmart. So next time you walk into a store, view it as you would a Tony Award-winning improvisation, and I promise you, it'll make the experience so much better. In the meantime, scroll down to check out this list by Bored Panda which includes the strangest moments in shopping history!

I Met This Gentleman At The Grocery Store Today And Asked If I Could Take A Photo Of Him
@Rita Miller why shame? Polio kills those it does not maim, the vaccine would have prevented a life time in this chair. Shame on you for ignoring the truth.
Load More Replies...One more thing no one has said yet - kudos to the man taking the picture for asking first. :)
Four words that could change the lives of many people for the better...
Sadly this message still isn't clear enough for a lot of anti-vaxers. And it all could be so easily resolved by proper legislation to force all parents to have their children vacinated. Thanks to anti-vaxxers a lot of diseases which were almost abolished are returning. I hope that they can live with the thought that thanks to them people are dying because their children are spreading diseases.
Blessings to this gentleman, and thanks to him for putting anti-vaxxers in their place!!!
Unfortunately, anti-vaxers are more likely to blame his condition on vaccines.
Load More Replies...Amazing! I love it when people deal with their situation and keep their good humor. We need more people like him to show these antivaxxers just how wrong they are.
The 0.0 down below too. As in, he can't run a marathon because polio left him unable to even walk...
PPl VACCINATE YOUR CHILDREN! YES THINGS HSPPEN BUT YOU HAVE NOT SEEN A POLIO OUTBREAK! ITS A MILLION TIMES WORSE
I know someone who had polio as a child, she was lucky, she has one leg that is shorter than the other, so she got off pretty easy, but she did say she sometimes has bad days where she’ll have a flare up.
Very nice of him to ask permission. I hate people who take photos to shame or make fun of people.
Amen! We have generations who have no idea of what polio even is and have never seen a survivor or an iron lung!
In Germany Polio vaccination was also compulsory 'til the 70s and the polio was eradicated and hopefully stays that way
Thank you! This is awesome! If your child is healthy, please vaccinate to protect those that can't. <3
Don’t you people see that he is polio VACCINATED???? This is an anti vaccine, not pro! I admire the photoggrafer for having the guts to post it! And the gentleman in the wheelchair for advertising it! Thank you both!
Then you are putting your children and those children around your children at unnecessary risk. It is unfortunate that you can't understand basic science.
Load More Replies...you mean the science that clearly demonstrates vaccines save a hundred times more lives than otherwise? Or do you mean the science that clearly demonstrates the scaremongering antivaxers are outright lying?

Can people stop taking picture's of random people they see? Or at least blur there faces. Or did we forgot the whole 'plane bae' ordeal?
Especially the ones where it was for genetic/medical conditions like being albino. For pretty much all that didn't ask permission, I wonder how many ever stopped to think how they would feel if their picture was taken just to embarrass them publicly?
Load More Replies...We don't have Walmart in Australia, we have K-Mart. But there are no kooks, pets, marriages, goats, pigeons and men in high heels there, just ordinary people...kinda boring compared to this lot.
What country or countries were the pictures of animals in food premises taken? Are there no health and safety laws against that?
In the US there are such laws in many places, but there are also laws that allow service animals as an exception and a lot of people consider "therapy animals" "service animals" so they skirt those health laws.
Load More Replies...Considering most of these images have been floating around for years, do the people who post them on Bored Panda claiming they took them get some thrill out of it?
Sadly the Daily Mail posted this... they are so bored they steal stories from here, sad farkers.
I worked for 2 years in a pharmcy at a UK ASDA/Walmart store - I can totally vouch for some of the strange things you see regularly. Looking at this post the US must be seriously worse, cannot unsee Arkansas Guy in his overalls (not overall enough)
You know these weren't all in the US, right? Lip jacket guy -there was a sign in the background with the British pound symbol, I think?
