The subreddit is called '[Dumb] People At Work.' Even though it's smaller than its aforementioned cousins and has just over 9K members, the content is just as good. Or bad. Depends on how you look at it.

Most of these people look like they have never heard of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). It's a federal agency responsible for ensuring safe and healthy working conditions for employees in the United States.

OSHA violations occur when an employer fails to comply with OSHA standards or regulations. I had managers who would spew new rules whether they made sense or not. They were always to afraid to say anything to their bosses when things were stupid. My all time favorite was the new pain scale for patients who are unconscious or in a coma. The scale came with a series pictures ranging from smiling to crying. I had two managers tell me, that if the patient is unresponsive, have them point at the picture that best describes their pain. I said that back to them. Yes, that is what you have to do. I asked them to repeat what they said. Now they seemed a bit testy. Okay then. If a patient is unable to respond, you want them to point at the picture. Got it. They went off on their merry ways & one of them came back to me later on, finally catching on to how stupid they were to say that. The other one defended the new policy for several weeks until they realized how stupid it was too. an unresponsive patient can't point at anything.
Maybe he should have been wearing a mask from the start, those toxic fumes have definitely done some damage on his brain.

Where I work, everyone except me has had the Covid jab and boosters and they all wear masks. I never wear a mask and refuse the jab. Everyone except me has had Covid. Some multiple times. No, this does not mean I'm just lucky.

I too worked in housekeeping, even before there was a pandemic on occasion I'd wear a mask because of backsplash. I'd also use disposable coveralls for really icky situations. Why you don't want to wear your mask is just weird! I'd understand if you're not working while customers are in the building, but to just flat out tell your boss "NO,it's stupid.....!" is the fastest way to being fired I can think of!

Used to work at a glass factory. Happened there too, after a rush order a couple of us did on a Saturday. The manager thought he could drive a forklift. We refused to work another 6 hours, and the manager was "reassigned" the Monday after. Still hurts to think about it.

We have a bridge in my home town that acts as a truck trap. It has a clear max height warning, yet several time a year, it snares another victim. So, the city decided the warning was not enough, and they placed a construct infront of the bridge, so if the truck wont fit, this thing hits the roof first and wont cause as much damage on either the truck or bridge. The problem is, they only placed one of those, in one direction even though it is a two way street because they claimed "most trucks drive in this direction". It only took some weeks, and a truck got stuck again - coming from the other direction.

My dad was DMing. So, my brother picks the lock of our cell and sneaks out, and tries to steal the (asleep) guard’s sword. Critical failure, the guard wakes up. Roll for initiative. Literally the NEXT TURN, I, the MEAT SHIELD, grab the sword and lop off the guy’s head. Shortly followed by in-character banter about the meat shield doing the rogue’s job.
My dad once tried to attack a fire imp with fire. Also my players trial-and-errored though a simple Indiana Jones floor puzzle. This is why I love D&D.
