These Guys Won’t Stop Trolling Their Neighborhood With Fake Posters, And Here’s 30 Of The Funniest Ones
Evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins coined the term "meme" in his 1976 book, called The Selfish Gene. The word describes an idea, behavior, or style that spreads from person to person within a culture — something viral. Since then, it has been hijacked by the Internet. But two guys are bringing it back to the natural world. Or at least, Vancouver, BC.
The creative duo, who describe themselves as "a couple of retired male models, hopping from job to job in search of the best office printers" are putting up street flyers all over the city about sleep being a scam, a grandad trying to figure out who is Cardy Bee, and poor Dr. Ed Brenner whose wife has made too much lasagna.
"What we do is provide a kind of comedic, social commentary through the juxtaposition of the ordinary medium of a public flyer with content that highlights, in some way, a recognizable but unvoiced social dysfunction," the guys told Bored Panda. Guess how they call them. Physical Memes! I bet Richard Dawkins is smiling somewhere.

"The goal [of our project] is to make it seem like it was created by a character who you could almost imagine existing but would hope it actually doesn't because it would be too cringe," the guys said.
They try to distribute the physical memes in places where the flyers would be visible to the most amount of people, in areas where they'll be likely to stay up as long as possible. "Overzealous employees and uptight civilians remove them remarkably fast."
True story. About five years ago, I was going through airport security and was stopped because I had a small, sealed container of jam with me. It counted as a liquid. It was too expensive to ship, too expensive to store, and I hadn't checked a bag. I had a friend coming in on a flight later that day. I stuck the jam behind some pamphlets on a display and went on my flight. Seven hours later, my friend checked. It was still there, and she was able to take the jam.
I'm not convinced it was jam. This sounds like a drug deal.

You could have left it home but maybe somehow you managed to take a photo, make a colage, text and print this paper while waiting in line at the airport control. You managed to run outside in a park, stick it to a tree and went back. Hope you didn't miss your flight!

We were given a paper assignment in middle school. Instructions said READ ALL QUESTIONS FIRST. We did not we just did the assignment. Took 30 minutes as there were at least 25 items. Last item said "only answer the first question". Ever since then I always made sure I understood the context of whatever I was reading. Great lesson.

Why can't you leave it at you house in the fridge where it will stay fresh and keep anyone from touching it because I highly doubt that someone is going to break into your house for that apple
