When Your Teacher Keeps Saying You Can’t Draw Cats, But Your Paintings Are Photorealistic
If you showed somebody these drawings and told them that they were accurate representations of cats, they'd probably laugh at you. But the truth is that they're actually purrfect depictions of our furry feline friends. Sure they're a little abstract, and ok, you might need to use your imagination with some of them, but as you can see from the pictures that inspired them, they're closer to the real thing than you might think. They were drawn by Heloisa, an artist from Brazil who posts their super-realistic creations on their Twitter account called Poorly Drawn Cats. Which one do you like the most? Let us know in the comments.

This is a fully lit , scratchygrowl ,with rear handle for easy winding to make scratchygrowl emit loud, siren like noise. It is advised to wear heavy rubber gloves as other end of scratchygrowls can become very active when wound.
I'm laughing so hard looking at this cat. Sorry I'm sure he must be frightened. But he is so funny. I love these drawings.
Shoot it John! ! NO JOHN that's not Fluffy anymore, I know it looks like fluffy but it's not, not anymore! Dammit John stop crying and SHOOT IT! ! !
A taxidermy version of someone's beloved deceased kitty? Bereft of life...kicked the bucket...rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible.
I thought it was a cat in a astronaut helmet in the first pic. Second pic made me realize there are even cooler things for a cat to be in. A piece of bread for example.
When a Boredpanda visitor say's you drew this after you saw these pictures. Gues that's what it means to be a content "creator". :p
They are no photorealistic, they are reminiscent. Please learn proper terminology.
Anyone who has ever owned a cat will immediately recognize these drawings as accurate representations.
Years ago I had a friend who was quite a bit taller than her husband and when her son was asked to draw a picture of family he drew a tall Mom, short Dad and himself. Teacher called the Mom in for a chat - said the father was obviously not important enough in the child's life since he drew him smaller than Mom. Mom said Did it occur to you that I am ACTUALLY taller than my husband? Teacher sort of stumbled and said that did not matter - if Dad was important enough in the kid's life he would have drawn him bigger. My friend said And then when you met him you would have called us in to find out why he had no grasp on reality!
I can't stop laughing at #7. The real photo... where's the rest of the cat?
Like 10, 15 & 21.......because they show the aloof, self-contented demeanor of cats.
These are great! And as a human owned by cat masters, my favourites are:# 3, 9, 15 & 22 😻
Brilliant! #10 slayed me... reminds me of one of my profs at university!! Lol!!
