When we compose our pics, it's usually the foreground that gets the most attention. After all, it's often where the main action is. But sometimes the background totally steals the show!
Whether it's an animal doing something unexpected or a total stranger intentionally photobombing, the possibilities are virtually endless.
So to remind you to pay attention to every pixel within a frame, we at Bored Panda compiled this exclusive list of some of the funniest backgrounds in photos ever. Continue scrolling to enjoy the images and fire up our earlier piece for more of the same.

Best. Photobomb. Ever
I believe this is in the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut. The beluga there is famous for doing this. I went to a wedding there and he did this during the ENTIRE ceremony, it was fantastic.
Juno. Yea, he's had several viral videos because he is so curious and charismatic.
Load More Replies...Better marry the whale! I just realized the hugue amount of people reflected to the glass! Noooo
Load More Replies...Beluga whale. Close enough - they're both cute words.
Load More Replies...HORRIFIC !!! Humans are so #$%^& up .The fact that we think its OK to enslave animals for our entertainment !! All zoos, circuses and aquariums should be shut !! Why should an animal have to live in a prison cell for us to be entertained ??
Its a horrific photo, humans have no concept that this poor whale is living inside a prison cell ,jailed for the rest of its life .ALL so called animal entertainment like zoos ,circuses and aquariums should be CLOSED !!!
"I object! I SAID I OBJECT!! Why aren't they stopping the wedding!!????"
OMG! I can verify how absolutely adorable, sweet, and crazy Belugas are. Loved the two Belugas at the Minnesota Zoo, Big Mouth and Little Girl many years ago. Always stopped in to say HI when we travelled up there. Little Girl loved to chew my long hair and also presented me her "purse" toy, which was her prized possession. She would swim up and out of the water, chattering all the way and put it in my lap. I just went nuts and thanked her, and she looked so pleased with herself. I was sure that when I gave it back to Janet at the Zoo, her Mom, before we left, she didn't see me do it. Missed them so much when they went to another aquarium. They are the dearest, most precious whales of all! Little-Gir...b434ca.jpg
I wonder, does he have a crush on the lady, or he just wants to admire the kissing, which one?
Hey it’s not everyday a dolphin comes to visit you at your wedding! She must be Ariel in disguise 🥸
Awwwww. Look how somber and serious the Beluga is taking this. Possibly also admiring the brides Beluga-ish veil.

I photobombed a group picture back before it was a thing. The group was comprised of about 30 people, all of the same ethnic group. I was walking behind them, and I happen to be of the same ethnic group, so I stepped up and got in their photo. Now, 23 years later, I often think of people looking at the photo, pointing to me and wondering, "Who was THAT guy?"
Kusotare, I just read your comment after posting mine. Sounds like you & my dad would have gotten along swimmingly :-)
Load More Replies...Be nice people! Be funny, be silly, join the group in a group shot ---- but do not add an offensive gesture. Respect others. Consider joining a family picture, then saying something like, "Hey, did you get me in the shot?" So the picture can be taken again. When I take photographs of others, including strangers, I take several pictures -- sometimes, depending on the group, with different instructions - smile, say (funny in the moment word), stand on one leg to show who has good balance, hands on your hips, then try to get the honest laughter that follows. They end up with several staged shots and a bunch of, hopefully, funny pictures. Of course rude, demanding Karens get one photo.
My husband & I got married in Las Vegas. Shortly before our ceremony was scheduled, my dad went into the chapel to see if it was ready for us yet and managed to get in someone else's wedding photos. I like to imagine that now, 20+ years later, the family has conversations like, "Who's that guy?" "Oh, that's Uncle Russ, you remember old Uncle Russ don't you?" "Oh, right, Uncle Russ, of course..."
Did your dad get an earful from your mom about how childish that was? I did! (From my wife, not your mom...)
Load More Replies...I noticed this in a picture I took recently. It was at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado - I decided to climb around some of the rock formations, and took a picture from some ways up... and noticed later that two people were also taking a picture in the background.
I have this one pic that I took before a Rammstein concert years ago, and the girl in the background was making the same face as I was and she was looking directly into my camera. She laughed so hard when I showed her the pic and pointed out that we both did the same face :D
Photobombing, a term that was invented when people learned they were not alone when they were in public.
