Parenting is not an easy task, those who have done it will know that's a fact. Despite our best intentions, it can sometimes go a little awry and little mistakes can be made with the poor little kiddies on the receiving end.
Bored Panda has compiled a list of these fails, nothing serious but definitely relatable and all of them will give you those slightly guilty kind of giggles. Scroll down below to check them out and don't forget to vote for your favourite!

I Took This Picture. The Baby Was Fine. I Still Get Hate Mail About It Occasionally, Even A Couple Of Years After The Fact
My first night home from the hospital with my firstborn, I feel asleep while feeding him. He rolled right out of my arms onto the floor! 😂 The inadequacy one already feels about being a new mother was amplified 10 fold. I didn't have the nerve to tell anyone that story for a good ten years, now that I've raised 3 amazing young men it's easy to laugh about it.
That reminds me of a father wanting his baby to ride on my horse. I told him no, because the horse was a youngster and the baby was... a baby, but the father was real pushy. He put the baby in the saddle and like 1 minute later a cat jumps out of the bushes and scares the horse. The father apparently didn't hold on to the baby properly because the baby flew in a loooong bow, really high up and really far away, and landed on his face down the sand. When it happend I was real upset, thought the baby was going to die, but now I can laugh at it.
Gosh that's really bad! What kind of idiot puts their child (especially a baby!) on someone's horse when they've already said no?! Absolutely crazy. How old was the baby?
Load More Replies...So when someone says, "Were you dropped on your head as an infant..." this kid has his answer.
LOL at least it was in sand probably make the impact softer. That is s****y people give her hate mail I so tiered of people who aren’t parents and are parent shaming for every little thing. It’s not like she threw her baby and by god shot happens no one is perfect. One time when my son was a baby I dropped my side kick on my sons head, and those things were sturdy.
It's the photographer getting the hate mail, not the parents
Load More Replies...When our daughter was 2-3 months old, we went to the beach. After some sun & surf, we packed up to go. Without making sure the baby was strapped in, her Dad picked up her carrier and flipped it a bit to get the sand out. He got the baby out instead! She just laid there in the sand with a look that said "Way to go, genius!". She wasn't hurt...just not pleased with her Dad!
This happened to me, my older daughter with 1,5 years hit the beach sand pretty heavy... Wife was pretty disappointed
At least the parents don't have to deal with the hate mail. Nice of the photographer to take the blow

Note To Self, Don't Let Baby Fall Asleep On You After You Spray Tan If You Do Not Want Said Baby To Have A Half "Tanned" Face The Next Morning.
Do not use chemicals such as tan spray near babies! Many will even get rashes from detergent perfumes etc. People really require more education on how harmful many every day substances are. Interestingly, while things we care for ("dirt") typically are totally harmless to babies.

Why are these called parenting fails? It's just parenting. Good luck finding a parent whose child never fell on their face, never ate something they're not supposed to, never had a tantrum, etc. All those things are just part of life.
why is the dad in the restaurant bad, is it so wrong for kids to strip down to their nappies in the heat? or am I missing the point.
Load More Replies...Just because folks take cute pictures of their kids doesn't automatically mean they don't love and hold their children.
Load More Replies...Parenting fails are great, and I guess our children will forgive us, for many of these fails ultimately come from the love for the children and the strive to care for them. A few entries, however, reflect selfishness and ignorance on the parents' side. Hard to not be judgemental in these cases, particularly if thoughtlessly endagering the children is proudly posted on the Web as a mere mishap.
It's been 20 years and I still cringe over some of my screwups. Nice to be able to look back and laugh at myself too
There's a lot of judgemental people on this page. It's bloody hard parenting and these people are letting us all know we're not monsters!
Thank you sooo much! I came here after the "grandparents meeting their grandchil(dren) for the first time" and all the ninja cutting onion that went with it.Now, I can't stop laughing. Feel better.
#4 Am I supposed to feel amused seeing this? That's littering, and I feel bad for the little girl having such parents.
As hard as I laughed at some of these (15, 17), I think the bigger parenting fail is subjecting your child to having his or her photo taken rather than remedying the errant situation. I realize many of these photos came about as the parents attempted to capture a happy memory and things didn’t go as expected, but leaving your kid with soggy sunflower seed shells stuck to her face or standing in wet shorts in a puddle of his own urine (just for example, because there were other offenders) so that you can document the mishap seems more cruel than kind. For many of these I got much the same feeling that I did when I used to catch bits of America’s Funniest Home Videos where most of the submissions were of people—including a lot of kids—tripping or getting hit with some flying object. Maybe the videographer’s first instinct was to see if the person was alright, but why was it followed by the need to air the injury on national television so millions of people can laugh at their misfortune?
