Artist Keeps Illustrating Everyday Life With His Wife, And Now We Get To See Their Baby Daughter (38 Pics)
Parenting is one heck of a task, but being freshly-made new parents is a whole different experience. You constantly feel like nodding off in random places, your shirt is stained with unidentified liquids, aka baby had breakfast, and quality time for yourself when raising kids is just a dream.
And who could ever illustrate such quirks and everyday problems better than the artist who has been documenting life with his wife for years? With a solid portfolio of relatable comics at hand (check it out here, here, and here,) the internet’s beloved cute couple Yehuda and Maya are back with some funny drawings on parenting. The new batch of comics, both painfully relatable and fiercely humorous, will hit very close to home.
And after you’re done, take a look at hilarious cartoons documenting how they dealt with Maya’s pregnancy and the funny problems it has caused right here.

Do You Still Love Me?
Pretty sure this scenario is exactly what that kind of lasting love is. May not LIKE you a whole lot right now, but you're still my boo
Tel Aviv-based illustrator Yehuda Devir and his wife Maya Devir have been documenting their loving adventures with their fans in the ongoing comic series “One of Those Days.” The series features exaggerated and very relatable moments from their lives. After Yehuda’s comics were picked up by Bored Panda in 2017, they became an internet sensation with an avid fan base and 5.4 million followers on Instagram. The couple was recently awarded with the Most Creative Content Maker award at the Inflow Global Summit 2019 Awards in Istanbul.

Body Changes
Bored Panda contacted Yehuda and Maya Devir to find out how their parenting journey is going. It turns out, the newly-made parents are as excited as ever! “We are experiencing a whole new range of emotions and feelings we didn't know existed,” they told us. The journey revealed new sides in their personalities that aren’t only positive ones. "We also have a lot of conflicts, but we grow from it,” the couple said.
After the baby was born, Yehuda and Maya had no option but to change their priorities: “There is no more couple, no more team at work... only Ariel.” In fact, the couple now works in shifts and is living under a new schedule. “It's a new life and we’re getting used to it. But not in a bad way. This experience is going to create a new and better us.”

Diaper Change
The only not-so-easy part about being a new parent is not having the time for yourself. “We never go to bed at the same time.” Due to the coronavirus, they now do a lot of digital lectures from home, and they try to balance work and family life under the same roof. “Both of us need to be present in the lecture, so it's very challenging to switch from our parenting warm personality to our business mode,” they said.
Yehuda and Maya hope that when Ariel gets older, “she will see all the work that mommy and daddy have done for her and she will appreciate it. We hope...”

Load More Replies...she really wished to be a mother before 30, they did it and now she is celebrating. We all have different reasons to celebrate in our life and all of them are valid. Today I'm bragging that I'm since 2,5 months without smoking.
Load More Replies...It's nice that it worked out, but there are so many things you can't control or that you shouldn't force to happen. I wouldn't consider it an accomplishment and given then number of women (and men) who are unable to make this happen through no fault of their own I'm really not a fan of this one.
I agree with you. It's awesome she reached her personal goal, but bragging about it like this is insensitive.
Load More Replies...Had mine at 23 and 24. Way too young looking back (31 now) i dont regret them obviously but i wish i waited. Same with marriage.
heh, my mom is at the other end of the spectrum & had me (her first child) at 39/40!
Load More Replies...Opposite for me, I wanted to wait until at lest 32...had her at 35 and SO glad I did.
She probably wanted to be a mom before 30. Like I wanted to be a mom before 21, then extended to 23 and then 25. I made it before 25 with a month and a half haha. Just a personal goal I guess
Same for me, just with 30.. Always wished for a kid before 30, but we're awaiting our first one in september at the age of 26 :D
Load More Replies...These are the type of comments that people casually make in casual conversation about what constitutes an accomplishment for a woman, and I have to sit there and listen to it, never mind everything that I have accomplished aside from being a mom (like, I dunno.... college, Med school, a surgical residency....)
You people take things way too seriously, it's a sketch about them and it makes them happy. You go do you and what makes you happy. Always someone that has to moan eyy
Women in the comment section. Relax. Take a deep breath. Nobody cares if you don't have kids or you didn't have kids before 30 or if you don't even want them. IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU. Let her celebrate her achievement and if you're jealous or whatever reason you can't be happy for her, zip it and scroll on. No one needs to hear your negativity.
According to this particular comic, as a 36 year old who isn't a mom yet, should I be concerned?
I was a mom before 20 and after 40. Yeah, can you tell I didn't pay attention in sex Ed class that day? 🤗🤭🥳💗

I thought her while body was on left, his on right. I thought they had each other's pants on. I was confused.

Style, attention to details and the truth in these comics are just so brilliant!
I love the art! I stopped in every pic and tried to check out every detail. Disappointed when it ended.
Some of the most beautiful art and subject matter I've ever seen. Truly amazing
For those who were wondering...this is them IRL and I'm surprised how they look the exact same as the comic! https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.israel21c.org%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2019%2F12%2Fdevir1.jpg&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.israel21c.org%2Fglobal-fans-love-israeli-couples-webcomic-about-marriage%2F&tbnid=iYj_bo_rcUqJRM&vet=12ahUKEwjGzrqsjJPpAhWJh1MKHZasCFAQMygwegQIARBg..i&docid=dF9upd9o9lcyxM&w=1600&h=1600&q=jude%20devir%20and%20maya%20devir&safe=active&ved=2ahUKEwjGzrqsjJPpAhWJh1MKHZasCFAQMygwegQIARBg

I love this guy and always have. He's amazing in what he does and you can see how much he loves his wife and now his family.
I love how he puts Comedy, Honesty, and reality together in these comics.
Amazing way to asprest the truth in the everyday life as a mother and father. Love it. 💖
I have a 6month old boy. So I can relate to almost every one of them.l:)
seeing this made me realize how hard it was on my parents...i'm a triplet
I wanna know what they look like in real life, compared to the drawings!! <3
I really wanna see what they look like in real life compared to the drawings!!
I proudly support them on Patreon with .... $1/month. I think it is fair if you enjoy their comics to give them a dollar. With thousands of people who like them, the artists could afford to create more.
This cartoonist has always done great work - but this series just reaffirms for me...thank god I never had kids. It. Looks. Miserable.
there's overhaul of comics on BP, but this one is one of few that is really worth to see. Perfectly sum the life with baby.
I think those ridiculous comment are unnecessary and detract from the images. A lot.
Told you last time : Ha ha ! That little thing is simultaneously the best and worse thing that has happened to you :D
Love these, takes me back to when my son was born, I was lucky to a totally involved husband too. These cheered my up, thanks.
Loving every picture. You have amazing talent and look like you've got a great sense of humour too. Keep it going.
Congratulations on the baby and Happy Mother's Day in advance, Maya Devir!! Happy Father's Day to you to, Jude, keep us smiling with your growing family!
