Weng Chen aka Messy Cow is a mindful mom. And a creative one. She's been documenting the struggles of raising kids for quite some time now and they're as accurate as they get. Messy Cow showed us the difference between having the first vs. second child, what happened to her husband after becoming a father, how both of their lives changed after having kids, and all of the painful ways in which a 2-year-old can hurt you. I don't know what universe hack Messy Cow's using, but she still finds time to draw her hilariously relatable comics.

"When I was about 2, 3 years old, my mom drew me a little mermaid and told me the story," the artist wrote on her website. "I was fascinated, it was like magic that the most beautiful picture just came from my mom’s pen. I believe that was when I fell in love with drawing and storytelling."

Now, she's mostly drawing parenting comics about her dreams and everyday life, raising her two daughters, Electra, the firstborn, and Ali, the secondborn, together with her husband. "I do this almost full time now," Messy Cow told Bored Panda. "So besides the time I take care of the kids, I make my funny comics.

I've always wondered if this is because a year is a bigger part of your life when you're younger. Like, when I was 5 a year was a fifth of my life, but at 30 it's a thirtieth.

The artist said her family is already familiar with her cartoon drawings. "My older child can read now, and she loves the comics. The younger one would look at the pictures and laugh. My husband doesn't talk about it much, but he reads everything and I think he enjoys it.

Out of all the parenting-related things Weng is currently working on, teaching her younger daughter Chinese is one of the most difficult ones. "I want her to read my mother tongue but she doesn't like it. I just force myself to do it every day, for 5 minutes no matter how difficult it is."

LOL. Mine says "cheeeesee" as loud as humanly possible and plasters on the absolute largest, diabolical-looking smile she can possibly manage....she looks...insane. Hope she grows out of it soon! ;)

I mean, that's a fairly realistic interpretation of how kids affect the home isn't it?
