31 Hilarious Olympic Figure Skater Faces That Show Why Cameras Should Be Banned In Some Sports
Let me get this straight. Olympic figure skating athletes are incredibly talented, graceful, and dedicated human beings that have reached the very pinnacle of their sport.
Chances are if you followed anyone around at work and captured their facial expressions on freeze-frame, you’d come up with some pretty hilarious photos. Figure skaters at this level exert themselves to the highest possible degree, and that kind of effort, combined with the forces of gravity, is obviously going to put that cheesy smile for the judges to the ultimate test.

If these gorgeous, amazing athletes make silly faces, I shudder to think what I would look like. Nope. Kudos to them for looking amazing, even with centrifugal force/tossing their bodies through the air.

I think every one of those faces are truly epic. They show the courage, the strength, and the dedication to a sport that is unforgiving. The power it takes for this sport is unbelievable. The ice has no mercy on your bones nor does it care. If you're skating with a partner, many times they are placing their life in your hands. That is a huge responsibilty! The judges are looking at your every turn. Shoot! I get dizzy just turning around a few times in bare socks on my living floor! I couldn't even imagine doing it skating backwards on ice! Some of the costumes might challenge some of their masculinity and lord knows the pressure from your team. This demands you put on yourself are hard enough. I do like all the funny faces as long as we all know, they deserved to make every one of them. They are all much more courageous and braver than I ever will be. I like this article and pictures for these reasons. I truly applaud all of them.
They make me snicker even though I'm a huge fan since I was a kid and have some relations to the sport but that title is just so disrespectful. There are loads of wonderful pictures for every funny one. ((Yes, I'm fun at parties...))

Yeah, making fun of people who've worked their entire lives to get where they are is sure hilarious. Funny like watching people get hurt, prat falls, etc.
disrespectful. this people trained for months just to make it to the Olympics, and for what? for internet make fun of them?
I'm pretty sure they got a lot more than just the internet making fun of their faces at random times. Come on, I highly doubt they get worked up about it.
