As long as people throw around some questionable bits of wisdom like it's no big deal, we have the unofficial karma police, aka ‘murderers by words.’ Except murder by words has nothing to with violence, weapons, or blood, which makes the act inherently peaceful, yet brutally powerful.
It’s because the fight is fueled by words, but not by any words. I mean witty, well-argued, and solid arguments that pierce straight through misinformation, fake news, and any other online BS that's so prominent these days. The targets can be anyone from Covid deniers to anti-vaxers to flat earthers and extreme right Trump supporters who support the Capitol riots or similar bursts of terror. And when the words come back, they do so with double the initial power.

Live like this? Apparently, wearing a mask while outside it's such an insufferable experience that you would rather die. Those people are so dramatic.
Two people in my office and my father-in-law are now dead because of Covid. To that person who would "rather die than live like this"? No...no you wouldn't. You would rather OTHERS die instead of you being inconvenienced. Your tune will change when it kills someone you love.
Wait...rather die than wear a mask for a few minutes when you run into the store??? Really? Damn, didn't realize people were so damn delicate. Literally it’s just wearing a mask in the chance that it helps not spread something that can kill others. Why is that such a burden. Even if statistically it’s only one in such and such. It’s just a light cloth covering. It’s not a metal helmet. I do lots of things I don’t believe in bc it’s the right thing to do as a human being considerate for other humans. A mask, for now at least, is the right thing to do and not a lot to ask. You don’t even need to debate how necessary it is. If it saves one person, how hard is it to wear it at the grocery store when you’re shopping.
They’d rather kill other people and jeopardise their own lives rather than stop going out drinking, window shopping and wearing a mask.
