Most of the world associate Canada with maple syrup, niceness, and more maple syrup. But the truth is... the country stereotypes aren't that far from the truth, actually. Just with a few extra weird details. Like, super social moose or friendly police officers. Exotic, I know. To give you a better idea about the Canadian stereotypes, Bored Panda has compiled another list of funny photos that perfectly describe the Great White North. So put on your parka, continue scrolling and enjoy.

For more Canadian memes, check out these pictures you probably couldn't take anywhere else.

Here's a fun fact about life in Canada. Canadians like to say "sorry" so much, they passed the "Apology Act" to limit its use. In the past, lawyers in court were probably able establish guilt quite easily. All they needed to do was prove someone apologized at the time of the incident and things would start going their way.

So Canadian lawmakers made it clear that an apology of any kind “means an expression of sympathy or regret” and not “an admission of fault or liability in connection with the matter to which the words or actions relate.”

Even the seasons are polite in Canada - feeling cold, head over to the Spring section.

Try Scotland! If you don’t like the weather- just wait 20 minutes. It’ll change- drastically!

Looks about right for about an hour or two, then the snow melts, the leaves start to fall a bit, and the hanging plant thrives another day!

where do you sign to go and live there? I would love to live in a place where there is snow even when the plants are in bloom. I can't take it anymore with the heat!

Immigration in your area - Thunder Bay is a bit north for most - depends on your likes/dislikes. If you are a city person, go to Toronto and suburbs, a lake person would go a bit more north to Barrie, Orillia, Muskoka (Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Huntsville - all cottage country + small cities/towns), farther north if you like the cooler weather. Just follow Highway 400 to Highway 11, and keep driving north until it feels right for you - welcome!

I used to manage an outdoor pool in northern Alberta. We opened on May long weekend and could count on at least one snow day a few weeks later. Snow would be melted by noon.

Ok...In Sweden we have 4 seasons in different amount of time relativity where we might live. Sweden is a loooong country. So living in north you don’t have to put away the snow scooter, just use it to take the Midsummer morning coffee, early because the sun never go down then up there. In the south you don’t have to take away the summer furniture, just use it to take your afternoon toddy on them during watching Donald Duck 3 pm (has been running in Sweden for 50 years!), because that part of the country has a - sort of - mid-EU climat. THIS - however - puts Sweden in junior league!!!

We have moderately terrible winters in our area (below freezing and snow on the ground for a couple of months), my UPS-driver husband and another UPSer had an ongoing tough-guy contest for about 5 years to see who would finally break down and wear pants instead of shorts. After one especially brutal winter my husband gave in and switched to pants, but only after all the hair had fallen off his legs. I've always told him if you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.
