Most of the world associate Canada with maple syrup, niceness, and more maple syrup. But the truth is... the country stereotypes aren't that far from the truth, actually. Just with a few extra weird details. Like, super social moose or friendly police officers. Exotic, I know. To give you a better idea about the Canadian stereotypes, Bored Panda has compiled another list of funny photos that perfectly describe the Great White North. So put on your parka, continue scrolling and enjoy.

For more Canadian memes, check out these pictures you probably couldn't take anywhere else.

Here's a fun fact about life in Canada. Canadians like to say "sorry" so much, they passed the "Apology Act" to limit its use. In the past, lawyers in court were probably able establish guilt quite easily. All they needed to do was prove someone apologized at the time of the incident and things would start going their way.

So Canadian lawmakers made it clear that an apology of any kind “means an expression of sympathy or regret” and not “an admission of fault or liability in connection with the matter to which the words or actions relate.”

I know this isn't the US. They spelled wheelbarrow correctly.

Haha! Moncton, NB...someone stole my mothers electric cooler from the storage unit in her building. She posted a sign for them to please put it back where they found it when they are done using it. Two days later there it was 🤣

In the US the sign would read, Give me back my wheelbarrow, I have a unique set of skills acquired over a long period...I will find you, I will kill you.

I live in Quebec. One of my neighbor stole my entry mat one day. I lived in an apartment building at the time and I knew it was my front door neighbors that did it. I let it slide as it was just an old piece of industrial carpet with duct tape around the edges. If you are that desperate for a carpet you probably need it more than me. Well they brought it back when they moved out.

It's easy to tell this is not the U.S. "Wheelbarrow" is spelled correctly.

You KNOW it's Canada because every word is spelled correctly, though the h and a could have been capitalized.

Well, before the internet was really a thing, we liked to move things like dirt, rocks and friends from one point to another. For that, we used a type of cart that had two handles , one wobbly wheel and no breaks. Hours of fun. Man, those were the days...

We have moderately terrible winters in our area (below freezing and snow on the ground for a couple of months), my UPS-driver husband and another UPSer had an ongoing tough-guy contest for about 5 years to see who would finally break down and wear pants instead of shorts. After one especially brutal winter my husband gave in and switched to pants, but only after all the hair had fallen off his legs. I've always told him if you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.
