There’s nothing wrong with fighting for your own interests. However, there are limits to this: the moment you start putting yourself high up above everyone else, you run the risk of becoming truly entitled and alienating everyone—from those closest to you to anyone you meet.

British psychotherapist Silva Neves explained to Bored Panda during a previous interview that some people who have an ‘I’m not enough’ mentality lash out at others until they gain confidence in themselves through self-compassion.

Um, do US gas pumps not also use a larger diameter nozzle for diesel than petrol, so that it won't actually fit in the filler neck? That is the norm in Europe, so accidentally putting diesel in a petrol car is now more or less impossible. You can still put petrol in a diesel, but this is a bit easier to rectify.
After a quick search, yes deiseal nozzles are larger and will not fit in a standard tank... this is BS.

That's just the fueling part. The mystery is how a stopping engine makes you drive sideways and swipe another car? If it slows down and dies, if anything you miss the car you're going to hit --- you get rear-ended as unexpectedly slow, nothing else.

Diesel pump handles don't normally fit in a regular fuel filler. They're quite a bit bigger. They're also typically green. Also, they're marked DIESEL right on the button. Also, it's a separate hose compared to gas. Also, it smells different. Hush Karen. Go lay down. If you got diesel in your gasser, you had to work hard to do it. Also, who the hell isn't on a budget? I hate that line. My uncle was a millionaire and was still on a budget. Granted, it's a higher budget but everyone is always on some sort of budget. My boss from about 10 years ago was making huge money. Still on a budget. I worked for Thomson-Reuters. Multi billion dollar company. Oddly enough, still on a budget.
Gotta look beyond just the price, cheapskate. Trying to save a couple pennies has now given her a VERY expensive problem to fix: her engine, fuel tank, fuel lines, the other car, her insurance, the ticket. Shoulda just paid five cents more per gallon and gotten normal gas. If memory serves, the diesel pumps are usually pretty well marked—-sometimes they’re a completely different color from the other pumps. Looks like she can spell the word “diesel” so should be able to figure it out by looking at the pump.

In the US anyway, there are different fuel grades that cost different amounts.

Diesel is always more expensive than regular unleaded at the pumps. From what I've seen anyway.
The diesel pump shouldn't even have fit into her gasoline fueling port, they're bigger so you can't screw it up.

The diesel pumps are clearly labeled "DIESEL", the pump handles are usually a different color (green vs red), and the pump fill tube is very difficult to force into a gasoline-fueled vehicle. She had to work pretty hard to accomplish all of this. You go Karen!
Ummm, this one is probably made up, where I live, a diesel nozzle will not fit in a gas opening! Also, the handle is green.

In my fifteen years of life, I have never once seen a gas station where diesel is the cheapest option. It's always AT LEAST a dollar over the other gas prices.

So last weekend I'm moving into my new rental home. It's kinda like a townhouse attached to other houses in a row. There are two parking spots for every house. My bf and I are taking up our two spaces to I tell my parents to park in the one next door since there is no one home (if they come home we can move, nbd, but there are 2 spaces). Well flash forward and next thing I know this woman shows up and demands my parents to move their car. At this point they are done anyway so I just send them home. The woman, who doesn't even live there but only dates the guy who lives there, goes on to say a bunch of crazy stuff like how we should watch out cause there are Karens in the neighborhood (ya don't say), and then randomly blurts out something about her 15 year old daughter and how we will see her sunbathing in the backyard...? Like why are you telling this to my 34 yo bf? and also it is currently winter in PA...? The kicker was her real name was Karen, and she was only running in for 5 mins). Usually I'm bad with names but doubt I'll forget hers.
Ummm, you know you only have two parking spaces. You also knew that you were taking someone else's and expecting them to ask you to move. Instead manage your own TWO spaces. Park one of yours on the street or somewhere else legal when you have guests instead of expecting other households to deal with you parking in their space.
