38 Times People Who Weren’t Happy About Biden’s Win Got Burned With These Hilarious Comebacks
The nature of democracy tells us that whoever wins the election gets to hold public office and represent the best of America’s people. It should be as simple as that, but with the 2020 election, everything is way more chaotic.
Donald Trump refuses to accept the loss and his fellow members of the Republican party are backing him. As if that wasn’t enough, Trump supporters are taking to the streets to challenge the election result, and who knows when this whole turmoil is gonna end.
But people are no rookies when it comes to challenging times. I mean, you shouldn’t expect the bunch of folks going through a once-in-a-century global pandemic to give up so quick. Especially when it comes to their sense of humor. And in that department, we've surely evolved quite a lot in the past year.
So, after Biden’s win, people on the internet have armed themselves with painfully funny comebacks that reflect how we all live in the times of boomerangs. ‘Cause words bounce back, just a few times stronger and way funnier.

Playing Monkey Pass With An American Who Thinks His Country Doesn't Deserve Him
Ever wondered what it takes to be a Trump supporter? Well, science may have an answer. Recent research that was done by psychologist and UC Santa Cruz professor Thomas Pettigrew, and published in the Journal of Social and Political Psychology, suggests that some interesting psychological phenomena may be at work.
According to Pettigrew’s paper, authoritarian personality syndrome may be more present in Trump supporters. The syndrome refers to a state of mind that is characterized by belief in total and complete obedience to one’s authority.
“The syndrome is often triggered by fear, making it easy for leaders who exaggerate threat or fear monger to gain their allegiance,” explained Bobby Azarian, a cognitive neuroscientist.

Another personality trait characteristic to Trump advocates may be social dominance orientation, which “refers to people who have a preference for the societal hierarchy of groups, specifically with a structure in which the high-status groups have dominance over the low-status ones.”
Bobby Azarian writes that a 2016 survey of 406 American adults found that those who scored high on both SDO and authoritarianism were those who intended to vote for Trump in the election.

I'm astounded that the rest of the Republican party are willing to be complicit in this attempt to destabilize their democracy. Surely the democracy of your own country comes before the ego of one desperate man? Surely there are decent Republicans willing to take a stand and put an end to this nonsense? I just can't get my head round it. They KNOW that the fraud claims are baseless, but they are just standing by and letting it happen.
I Mean Come On
Also from what I remember - Hillary (as much as I'm not her biggest fan) and Dems took the loss fairly well. By a considerable margin especially compared to the orange dummy. "This loss hurts, but please never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it. It is, it is worth it. (...) Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead. Our constitutional democracy enshrines the peaceful transfer of power. And we don’t just respect that, we cherish it."
How the hell do I know more about America than many Americans?
The GOP has systematically underfunded and denigrated education in this country for a very long time. Teachers are barely paid a living wage and often have to supplement their classrooms with supplies they purchased themselves. When you have a party that is so anti-education, you wind up with an uneducated populace that will vote against their own best interests. Hence, you get people like the 71M that voted for Trump.
I know, right~ Thinking that I probably more knowledgeable about the US compared to 71 million Americans does not sit well with me.
Exactly.
Mrs M: 71 million is a VERY big minority. I don't like to hate on all Americans, but your country is a big disappointment. 71m is a problem.
I agree that it's disheartening that so many people voted for Trump again. However, the point I was making was in response to a comment on here that said that "Americans are extremely ignorant... don't get taught history..."
It is.
Because we have continuously pitched to keep our general population relatively stupid by cutting down the access to education for the masses. This isn't a new trend, it has been going on for decades, in a sole purpose to perpetuate the political duopoly. Political discourses have been replaced with simple, single-issue dichotomy (i.e., pro-life/-choice, gun control, and such, think of it like Pepsi v. Coke, and people are made stupid enough that drinking Dr. Pepper is so original) while all social, political, and financial benefits collect only around the proximity to the political players, thus, money makes money, and the powerless continues to stay so. Consider this for a moment - 2020 election spending is over $14 billion. That's a s**t ton of money that circulate withing that small circle of the system. Can we do this better, can we do this differently? Of course we can, but that will take a whole generation. Time takes as ling as it does.
You presumably don't watch FOX news or listen to Repub pundits.
We're not taught that the past is relevant. I was, but at home. Makes a big difference.
Then you are qualified to run for office. Just run as a Republican..Trump said that in the early 2000's and added that they are so stupid... they made his point for him didn't they? I think the Congress should put in something about the maximum age and be vetted by passing a civic test. That would have disqualified him twice.
Americans are extremely ignorant, they don't get taught their history and they don't get taught civic. They are simpletons. They are also lazy, they don't read at all, many americans don't do much in the way of educating themselves about their history.
I'm American and had an excellent public school education. I know my geography. Please stop hating on us all based on a minority of imbeciles. Thank you.
Not all. Just 71,000,000
Hard to disagree. The American education system needs more funding, and college education needs reform. This doesn't even take into consideration the work that needs to be done for the overall culture of anti-science and anti-education that permeates huge chunks of this country.
I know my history and civics. However, I was raised to believe they are RELEVANT TO THE FUTURE. That is where education may go awry...

You mean the U.S. America is the continent. And sadly you're right.

Ah yes, more whining from a man who is now begging for money to fund his legal campaign, yet who boasted he’s very rich..hmmm.
