Ah, the world of high fashion. Elitist, pretentious and ridiculously out of touch to your average person, some of the creations fashion houses come out with, presumably while enthusiastically sniffing their own farts, are just too easy to make fun of.
We here at Bored Panda have collected a fun list of memes around the world of fashion that do precisely that, because when you strip away all the glitz and glamor, following 'trends' that someone made up in a boardroom somewhere is a bit silly, isn't it?
Scroll down to check out the list for yourself, and let us know what you think in the comments!

Maybe his grandma knitted the scarf for him and she remembered him bigger than he actually is, but he still had to wear it so as not to make her sad.
The last time I was on an overseas flight, it seemed that every other man under age 40 was wearing a version of that 2005 scarf.
nnaaaahhhhhhhh this should not be here! this is beautiful! He looks so handsome! He looks like he belongs to a royal family!
I really like this outfit. I don't know whether to up vote because it's cool or down vote because the title is silly.
I know this looks absolutely nothing like 18th century attire
Load More Replies...A lot of Indian men wear similar clothing... its cultural I'm pretty sure.
Hes pretty damn handsome and I actually like this outfit!...I would be his prom date!
It's a Pathani suit. Worn in India during special occasions, mostly weddings / engagements etc. It's origin is middle eastern though.
It's Shervani. Pathani Suit is very different design.
Load More Replies...I like this one better than all that other junk they called fashion. I wonder if the rest of it is so you can see which rich people are actually dumb enough to wear this stuff....
I think we're all strange people, to at least one person every single person on this earth is "strange" and it's our choice on how to show it :)
Load More Replies...Why is this on this fashion disaster list? This is an occasional traditional attire-Achkan Sherwani (upper body) and Churidar (lower body) worn in India and other neighboring countries. It's kind of an Indian wedding suit now made popular by Indian royalties.
Nothing wrong with that. I'd rather (have a date) show up in this than in [insert any of the stuff above this]
It looks weird that he's wearing it in a suburb but it's genuinely pretty nice. I've seen this style of men's formal wear in India and other places in SE Asia.
I have no idea why he's wearing it or what it is but it looks absolutely gorgeous on him and he should definitely keep wearing it :D
I would wear that if I could get away with it. Its gorgeous! (so is he)
This is actually the first thing I see that I might actually wear
This is just fine. Nothing to see here, folks, just a good looking young man in a snazzy Sergeant Pepper suit.
Prince did it first and better. Including that Freemason "sign o' the Times"
This is kurta pajama.. Traditional Indian outfit.. And it looks awesome.
I love this. WAY better than what most guys wear. Most guys (in the US at least) try really hard to not look attractive.
While I think everyone should wear what he or she wants, I find it hard to comprehend why anyone would accept a lack in functionality for a gain in style.
I think sometimes the lack in functionality is okay to gain in style (like wearing things for really fancy events where you just stand around all day) but for everyday usage most of these seem crazy
Load More Replies...My casual clothes have been the same since jr high, T-shirt's and comfy jeans, though the fit of both of have improved over the years, and most of my shirts are funnier now
Same for me, except all my clothing is now a larger size :/
Load More Replies...Fashion like this is purely art, it's not for wearing in real life, obviously, it's no different to an art installation, a sculpture or a painting whatever. Some it is fully wacky mate.
If it's purely art and not meant to be worn, why call it fashion, it's not. How about wearable art.
Load More Replies...A lot of this is just avant garde type clothing, so of course no one is going to wear this stuff in public because it would look ridiculous. Avant Garde is used for fashion designers to express themselves, even if it looks really weird but they are artists and very talented ones at that.
I totally get the part that art plays in fashion. Some of the outfits were artfully interesting, but wearing a blowup pool is neither art nor fashion.
Load More Replies...I want to cry for all of those models being humilated and still thinking they're "something"
It's too much fun. I can't stop my laughter. https://www.topsandbottomsusa.com/collections/adidas
I just don't understand the runway fashions that you see... just why? and people clamor to be there for these shows. It is funny about the cod piece though
I think its time to advise all this "fashion" designer not to use so much LSD, just a free advise, and don't put it in the drink before the catwalk start to the public
So my understanding is that the goal is to make stuff look as ridiculous as possible?
