So Christmas is over, New Year's is over, and you're starting to regret your resolutions already. The weather is still awful and will likely remain so for at least another couple of months, and the work on your desk has piled up over the Christmas period together with the inches around your waist. January and February are definitely fertile months for the occasional 'epic fail day!'

Fear not, though. Nothing that these dark months can throw at you is a patch on what unfortunate events these folks had to endure. Because sometimes knowing that your worst day ever could be even worse, makes it a little better, doesn't it? To help you put things into perspective, we here at Bored Panda have collected another funny photo list of people who are having hilariously bad luck, following on from previous series here and here. Scroll down below to check them out their funny accidents for yourself, and enjoy a satisfying spot of schadenfreude on us!

And how dare you laugh at human being being born into a world of a father who obviously does not give a s**t what he does with his semen? Sorry, but this is not funny but infuriating. Such a lacak of responsibility...although I see the irony. Hope he at least has to pay big time!

It's not because they "inherited" the debt, but the debt caused the families economic status to massively decline in the he first place. That shift is what affects generations down the lines. If your family is poor, grow up poor, they will likely carry on just being poor and raising their kids in the same environment. People end up homeless because of medical bills, their kids aren't going to have a prosperous future when that's the case

Pharmacy for 83 THOUSAND? 😵 Serious question here, please explain: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR HEALTHCARE? I'm Swedish and I barely pay anything for pharmacy or healthcare. We have a maximum cost for a year of health/pharmacy costs (one each, which most people whine about) and it's actually nothing when you spread it out over a year.

My bs detector went off but I looked it up and this is real. WTF?! What's nuts is that these bills are part of a system that "negotiates", and the hospital often doesn't end up getting just a settlement which is partly why the initial bill is so high. Good lord.

My 25 year old son who was healthy until one day he woke up disoriented and talking gibberish (mistaking hat for bookcase) and very wobbly. Assumed a stroke or brain tumor. All sorts of tests like MRI's & CATscans etc. were run, he spent a day and a half in the hospital until they figured out his phosphate was low. The cure was a juice with phosphate in it. Total bill sent to insurance was $18,000. Thank God for insurance but yes, our health care system is really screwed up.

Rosco Schmitt - and what would you know? Have you ever been a patient of the NHS? All emergencies are collected by free ambulance, triaged by doctor or nurse and treated immediately if necessary or within 4 hours. I broke my wrist last year. I was x rayed, had my arm reset by an orthopaedic surgeon under local anaesthetic and was in a cast within 6 hours. On Xmas eve I had a Crohn's attack and ended up in A&E. I saw a Doctor within an hour, had an IV and NG inserted, CT scan and surgery the following day. All free. Don't talk rubbish about things you know nothing about.

I had to google it to be sure, but it seams that you would have to pay exactly nothing if this happened in Germany. Apparently there was a guy at the Zoo in Köln in 2013 who got bitten by a Western diamondback rattlesnake. He was given an antidote but his insurance payed it all.

It would be useful to know what medications were given, what lab services were required. It seems that he was hospitalized for 5 days. Also, this is the total bill. The insurance calculates what they cover, and there's usually room for further negotiations after that.

I still can't wrap my head around any country that sees medical care as a priviledge and not a human right. It makes no sense why US citizens are given free access to pre-HE education yet have to pay for things like heart attacks, rape exams, getting hit by cars or cancer.

Unfortunately, because of "health care" a lot of people have "bad days" like this.

Free healthcare isn’t the problem, THIS is. A medical system that can do this is criminal.

Makes me love my country even more. The government takes off a part of my pay check but if I need to go the the hospital, everything if free. This system provides access to medical care for everybody. Even for poor people.

I'm so lucky to have the NHS. People in the UK constantly moan about it but we would be buggered without it!

I work in pharmacy in the UK. Would love to know what medication he was prescribed to have a bill of $83k. Be interesting to see the actual cost.

You's still have to pay it. They can charge whatever they want. They have the money to keep politicians doing their dirty work.

What happens if you can't pay? They restore you to the original state by almost killing you?

They destroy your credit and call your place of work until they fire you. You go bankrupt and die anyway. No one cares until it's them.

Wow! How much does an antivenom cost? If the snake was a local species, the antivenom shouldn’t be so expensive..

I'm guessing it's for linens, tissue boxes, janitorial services, the crackers and ice water they might have offered him and alcohol wipes. All worth a whopping $462 dollars!

I could potentially see that the pharmacy and lab would be high...weird, exotic snake bite. But the services? $21K for what? Them to look and say...."Dammmmm, you need to go to the ER, Bro" and then change the white paper sheet and charge him another $17K? The ER was cheaper!

He said he got bit by a snake. That generally requires multiple vials of antivenin along with a stay in the hospital to be certain there is no organ damage. In this case the bill is pretty accurate.

Yes Obama used his time machine to screw with our healthcare system. You do know that US healthcare was like this and worse before Obamacare, but you’re pretending that you don’t know that. Seriously, I know I shouldn’t feed the trolls, but you do know that Obamacare was passed in reaction to cases like this, right? To mitigate the situation. And that it wasn’t a more aggressively progressive (ie effective at reducing costs by introducing something like a public option) policy (that is to say, they tried to keep the system market-based) because the architects were trying to curry conservative votes to pass the thing. Votes which they never got anyway.

Number one lesson: if you got an important presentation to do, do NOT change anything at least from 24 hours in advance. Always check the equipment first, always bring an adapter, ALWYS bring a copy of the slide set on a memory stick. Sounds paranoid, but it truly is not.

Ouch. As someone who gets allergic reactions to a lot of different things I know just how extremely painful that must be. With hairdyes do a test every time even if it was fine before.
