This is so funny. I almost died when I read "Upper Dicker" 🤣 but my most favorite funny town name must be "Ding Dong, Texas"
Near to where I live is a town called "Drogen" (drugs). They got their sign stolen a good amount of times, but honestly, the absolute peak of irony was when a certain Frau Hanf (Mrs. Hemp) was mayor. Also Germany's got Pissen (no translation needed, right?), Oberkaka and Unterkaka (Higher and lower Poo), Hundeluft (Dog's air), Kotzen (Vomit) and Elend (Misery)
I might be living in Lower Poo *now*, but once I make it, I'll move to posh, upscale Upper Poo!

We have so many fun names. Near me there's Long Itchington and Bishops Itchington. In Cornwall, there's Mousehole (pronounce Mowzul). In the southwest, there's Westward Ho! (the only town with an exclamation mark in it). The names are weird and wonderful. BTW, all the names about slags and sluts etc., ARE named for places where you could engage with sex workers of yesteryear, and nobody bothered changing the names later.
Gotta say that if a certain formerly cool little town in CA had just kept the name 'Slabtown' we would n't have all the pretentious pr*cks that have invaded it now.
