Buying stuff is so last year, thus more and more people turn to DIY projects for anything and everything they can. And with the help of the internet, many DIY craft tutorials are only a couple of clicks away - from holiday decorations and toys to clothes and makeup, all of that and so much more can be done at home. Or so they say at least.
With so many Do It Yourself tutorials flooding the Internet lately, you'd think people would have the hang of this DIY craft thing by now. They don't. They're still delivering some pretty epic fails, and it's still hilarious. We get that directions to even the easiest DIY are sometimes hard to follow. It's totally true that things rarely look the same as on the screen. Come on, though. Did these people even try?
Have a look, and a laugh, at some of the worst Pinterest fails we could find below. If your DIY project didn't go as planned either, add it to our list below, because there's no shame in funny fails if you at least put in 50% effort.

If your project requires 83 carrots and a jar and you use 3 potatoes and a wine glass, it's not a failure, just stupidity.
Some are the result of not reading the instructions, or thinking it through carefully enough. And lot of these are comparing first attempts to more experienced crafters' results. Key word, EXPERIENCE.
Most of these ideas just needed common sense.
Some of these are just the result of failing to follow directions or substituting poor materials. Some of these are legitimately hard to reproduce. Some of us need to put down the glue bottle and step away. XD
