All of us who are part of the rat race of life know what it’s like to trudge back and forth to the office daily without anything particularly exciting to look forward to. Well one man on Imgur, noticed a lonely dead cockroach on his daily walk out of the office “via a seldom used fire stairwell” and saw an opportunity to liven up his days.
Over the past month user TheDisney Dad began a series of diorama drama stories made from post-it notes, starring the dead bug and while it may sound bizarre they are extremely entertaining. Scroll down below to see this cockroach mini series!
This Imgur user would leave the office via the same seldomly used fire stairwell everyday until something caught his eye
Here’s the cockroach mini series
“Happy birthday!”
“I left him a present…”
“…but he drank too much at the party and vomited…”
“He was there so long that the paramedics came…”
“…but it turned out he was dead, so the police were called”
“It turned into a crime scene…”
“Whilst the funeral was going on”
“(over two steps now)”
“The stairwell was finally cleaned, and it was all taken away, but undeterred, a scene appeared from the offices of the SVU”
“And they finally found the culprit!”
“I’ve had fun…”
“It kept me (and apparently quite a few others) entertained. It turns out that others used that stairwell as well”
People were surprised and entertained at the idea
Going into the story I thought What the heck? This turned out to be surprisingly entertaining and funny. I wish I worked there. He seems to have a lot of free time and I just hope he washed his hands. My only question is how often exactly are those stairs cleaned? Would they have taken even longer to clean them if the art didn't appear on them or would they have cleaned them sooner?
Maybe the stairs weren't cleansed too often that's way the roach couldn't stand and died.
Load More Replies...We have an over-abundance of dead (and live) cockroaches where I work. Years ago, I saw a dead cockroach that remained in place for several days. I made a sign on a sticky note that said "Hi, My name's Brad." The next day, Brad's sign was gone. Brad was still there. I made a new sign that said something like "Someone stole my sign. Can't a cockroach get any respect around here?" The next day the sign was gone and Brad was still there. I discovered a place that manufactures and sells "Tiny Crime Scene Tape." I ordered some online. The crime scene tape arrived - FROM ENGLAND (that gives you an idea of the timeframe) - and Brad was STILL THERE. So I cordoned off the area with the tape. (I get the w*****s from cockroaches so I avoid getting too close to even dead ones.) By the next morning someone had left a toy police car and cop. Apparently by the next day, the coroner finally showed up and took Brad away and the police cleared the scene.
Loved that story - especially the crime scene with the poster showing pics and arrows (like in movies) and the funeral service. I think it was very warm, clever and funny and yes would love a coworker like that too! It doesn’t infer he had too much spare time - it could have been done during breaks. Great story :)
Or he could have made it all at home and brought it in.
Load More Replies...IMO this is priceless. I used to use the stairwell myself when I was in better shape and a lot younger. All I had to look at in those 10 flights of d stairs was a very dirty dirty gray stairwell. Love this story and the imagination of the creator of this wonderful post! Thank you.
Rather amusing! I dont know what i would think coming across this randomly lol i pray to god he used tweezers to move that bug lol
very good just what i needed to wake up to and laugh. damn big roach wonder if it had siblings
Way too funny! My outdoor kitchen will now be the site of many crimes and funerals. "Shop-Vac Forensic Cleaning Service" is on the job.
No harm done. There are much worse things that could be seen in a stairwell, like p**s puddles! Kudos to the artist.
Cockroaches are the most disgusting creatures on this planet. +1 for every dying cockroach. Good riddance!
I wish I could read the whole article without feeling grossed out. After having a dream about cockroaches being all over me, they completely freak me out now.
A friend of mine came to us and showed up a crime scene photo. Turned out one of her co-workers had hit a bird on the way into work. The poor thing died on impact and was lodged in the grill of the truck. When they got to work, the onsite police officer broke out "Police crime scene, do not cross" tape and roped off a square around the bird still lodged in the grill. I told her he should dust for fingerprints too, just in case....
Nice story... but sorry, I don´t like cockroach... ewww! But it was fun :)
This is to weird. Why are you moving around and creating scenes with a dead cockroach? This is disgusting, yet amusing.
I think this is creative you may have a different view but if you don't have anything nice to say, simply don't say it!
