Alvin Juano is back on Bored Panda with some new, hilarious comics full of dark humor and unexpected twists. His comics are very popular, with 500k followers on Instagram and 125k likes on Facebook. People seem to love the way the artist shows life and its dark sides. Some, perhaps, even relate to the comics.
The art itself is simple, but the ideas behind it are portrayed in a creative and fun way. The hero of the comics is a simple guy with a pessimistic outlook on life, a condescending dog, and strange friends.

Alvin Juano is a 25-year-old artist that lives in Jakarta, Indonesia. He started the The Square Comics in 2014 because he wasn't doing so well in school. He needed something to distract him and lift his spiritts up, so he started doing these short, funny and dark comics.
But in real life, he can not have kids if he doesn't want to. Nobody 'tells' their son to give them a grandchild.
On a earlier interview on Bored Panda Alvin shared that he comes up with material before he goes to bed. He thinks of subjects that might be funny and writes them down, the next day he picks the ones he likes and creates the comics.
We have many comics here on Bored Panda. Some are about dinosaurs dealing with mental health issues, some about funny situations and fails, and even some sweet ones about an adorable alligator and his best friends. Check these comics out and maybe you will like them!
