The pandemic has taken over the world and while health professionals and government authorities are working tirelessly to keep people as safe as possible, they are doing their best to make a difference as well. Washing their hands, social distancing, and creating jokes about the situation online, of course. It's one of the most popular coping mechanisms, helping everyone to handle their pandemic-related fears and anxieties. "The more we laugh at something, the less scary it looks," one board game developer has said.

From poking fun at our online orders to a moment of silence for our ever-worsening hairstyles, Bored Panda has collected the best coronavirus jokes this week, and for those who can't get enough of them, check out our previous compilations: part 1part 2part 3part 4part 5part 6part 7, and part 8.

Unfortunately, we can't eliminate stress and anxiety from our lives. Especially during these uncertain times. We can, however, develop skills to manage them. "A sense of humor can be an amazing line of defense when it comes to coping with stress," Elizabeth Scott, MS, who's a wellness coach specializing in stress management and quality of life, wrote in Very Well Mind.

"Developing a sense of humor about life's challenges is a great place to start," Scott said. "A sense of humor will help you to build resilience to stress as well as improve your overall physical and emotional health. It will also enable you to bond with others, look at things in a different way, normalize your experience, and keep your relationships strong."

So, if we're already doing everything in our power to get through the pandemic, chances are that joking about it will only make things better.

"When you're in the middle of a difficult situation, it can seem overwhelming. Taking a step back, however, and viewing your situation as an observer can help you see your situation with a new lens. This is called reframing—and it works," Scott said.

Truth. The real question is: "Are we going to do anything about it?" Step one would be to vote out Trump, Mitch, and the rest of the GOP come November.

I'm currently reading the book. It is brilliant. A good one for lockdown as it's 895 pages!

Far as I recall it reopened once, and that wasn't really a reopening since the original park never really went into business. And then it ran successfully for years - at least long enough for people to get *bored* with dinosaurs! - before another incident occurred.

No. He wasn't. He's an imbecile and so emotionally-r******d that he can't even take responsibility or ownership of the things he says. Trump believes that personal integrity is a flaw.

This joke presumes that Trump can actually read and understand words that have more than two syllables. He finished reading the first word and then got stuck. Now he's just looking at it to try to convince people that he's reading.

And if injecting it does not work, maybe you need to bath in it. Or bake cookies with it. No idew is strange enough to not come from Trump and be denied again once he realised that the whole world is shaking heads.

We'd better make a vaccine fast, or all the vampires will die (again). Actually, I understand that there was a study which found that the virus breaks down in only minutes in sunshine, vs hours inside.

If I were president of any country, I would not be tweeting all my thoughts like a stream of consciousness... I would also defer to the experts (in the fields relevant to the issue at hand) that are advising me and read the scripts that have been prepared for me rather than pretending to be a polymath who is an expert in every field.

I think that's the opinion of all reasonable and concerned Americans, and throw most other nations into the mix. I'm so deeply ashamed of him, of international attitudes toward him, of the lack of respect and cooperation we once had. I'm an atheist, but there must be some unseen force that can inflict a scientifically provable understanding of this world crisis. Check back in September? Maybe make it Christmas? Things, in general, are scary as hell.

Actually, a couple days before he said it, Trump was talking to the guy who sells bleach as a snake oil cure-all under the name "miracle mineral solution". Not a joke; look it up.

I'm surprised he hasn't suggested drinking the isopropyl alcohol. Oh, that's right. He doesn't drink alcohol because his brother died of alcoholism. Then, again, he does have a problem with reading. He's in his 70's and too proud to wear glasses to see what's going on in the real world?

In his narcissistic thinking, he wants to appear to be the first to come up with the next bright idea. After all, his followers will "swallow" anything. He thinks of himself as the most brilliant president ever, and uses every opportunity to show his "brilliance." He has no concept of the difference between appearing to be a leader and actually being one.

My question is ; if sunshine kills the virus, why do they take the sick inside a building where they won't get any sunlight on them , shouldn't they be setting up hospital bed outside?????
