The pandemic has taken over the world and while health professionals and government authorities are working tirelessly to keep people as safe as possible, they are doing their best to make a difference as well. Washing their hands, social distancing, and creating jokes about the situation online, of course. It's one of the most popular coping mechanisms, helping everyone to handle their pandemic-related fears and anxieties. "The more we laugh at something, the less scary it looks," one board game developer has said.

From poking fun at our online orders to a moment of silence for our ever-worsening hairstyles, Bored Panda has collected the best coronavirus jokes this week, and for those who can't get enough of them, check out our previous compilations: part 1part 2part 3part 4part 5part 6part 7, and part 8.

Unfortunately, we can't eliminate stress and anxiety from our lives. Especially during these uncertain times. We can, however, develop skills to manage them. "A sense of humor can be an amazing line of defense when it comes to coping with stress," Elizabeth Scott, MS, who's a wellness coach specializing in stress management and quality of life, wrote in Very Well Mind.

"Developing a sense of humor about life's challenges is a great place to start," Scott said. "A sense of humor will help you to build resilience to stress as well as improve your overall physical and emotional health. It will also enable you to bond with others, look at things in a different way, normalize your experience, and keep your relationships strong."

So, if we're already doing everything in our power to get through the pandemic, chances are that joking about it will only make things better.

"When you're in the middle of a difficult situation, it can seem overwhelming. Taking a step back, however, and viewing your situation as an observer can help you see your situation with a new lens. This is called reframing—and it works," Scott said.

Truth. The real question is: "Are we going to do anything about it?" Step one would be to vote out Trump, Mitch, and the rest of the GOP come November.

Far as I recall it reopened once, and that wasn't really a reopening since the original park never really went into business. And then it ran successfully for years - at least long enough for people to get *bored* with dinosaurs! - before another incident occurred.

No. He wasn't. He's an imbecile and so emotionally-r******d that he can't even take responsibility or ownership of the things he says. Trump believes that personal integrity is a flaw.

I think she died, and then her family was all "OMG how did this happen?" And started a GoFundMe that raised about $35,000.

I want to **try** to keep things factual. This is a picture of Audrey Whitlock. She did not die. She was asymptomatic, but self quarantined for 2 weeks. This is not Karen Kolb Sehlke, the woman who posted on Facebook that this was a hoax, died of coronavirus, and her family is cashing in on GoFundMe.

Sad thing is that people like her will occupy the hospital beds and doctors and wont allow innocent people to get the help they need.

What's a joke is these peoples' stupid, anti-science attitudes. There are consequences for not understanding science and not listening to scientists and doctors.

Some people who are anti quarantine believe that we need to be on the honor system and only stay home if infected; while others believe we need to get to herd immunity. Just because they are anti quarantine doesn't mean they believe the virus is a hoax. Some people have a different belief on how to deal with the virus.

ask Boris how you'll get sick now, and learn the "freedom" lesson...! I've been sick, also if I respected lockdown. thanks to God healed alone at home, no ICU... God bless all doctor, nurses and all hospital staff.

Just cause you stayed home doesn't mean you won't get it. Staying home doesn't keep you from getting sick, it slowed the progression of the virus. Don't be so self righteous about your choice to stay inside.. you're not protected like you think you are.

she's an obese 40yo living in US where pretty much all food has refined sugar or molasses in. That means she also probably has diabetes. So she has no. 2 and no.4 from the comorbidity of the Covid death list and complications list. I am liking the chances here

It is really a sad state of affairs when people are glad someone else got really sick and died. Those of you who are wishing bad things on her or anyone else are the real animals who should get sick. No one should be treated like that even if they brought it on themselves.

This joke presumes that Trump can actually read and understand words that have more than two syllables. He finished reading the first word and then got stuck. Now he's just looking at it to try to convince people that he's reading.
