The pandemic has taken over the world and while health professionals and government authorities are working tirelessly to keep people as safe as possible, they are doing their best to make a difference as well. Washing their hands, social distancing, and creating jokes about the situation online, of course. It's one of the most popular coping mechanisms, helping everyone to handle their pandemic-related fears and anxieties. "The more we laugh at something, the less scary it looks," one board game developer has said.

From poking fun at our online orders to a moment of silence for our ever-worsening hairstyles, Bored Panda has collected the best coronavirus jokes this week, and for those who can't get enough of them, check out our previous compilations: part 1part 2part 3part 4part 5part 6part 7, and part 8.

Unfortunately, we can't eliminate stress and anxiety from our lives. Especially during these uncertain times. We can, however, develop skills to manage them. "A sense of humor can be an amazing line of defense when it comes to coping with stress," Elizabeth Scott, MS, who's a wellness coach specializing in stress management and quality of life, wrote in Very Well Mind.

"Developing a sense of humor about life's challenges is a great place to start," Scott said. "A sense of humor will help you to build resilience to stress as well as improve your overall physical and emotional health. It will also enable you to bond with others, look at things in a different way, normalize your experience, and keep your relationships strong."

So, if we're already doing everything in our power to get through the pandemic, chances are that joking about it will only make things better.

"When you're in the middle of a difficult situation, it can seem overwhelming. Taking a step back, however, and viewing your situation as an observer can help you see your situation with a new lens. This is called reframing—and it works," Scott said.

Truth. The real question is: "Are we going to do anything about it?" Step one would be to vote out Trump, Mitch, and the rest of the GOP come November.

I read everywhere that if you rub your glasses with soap and wipe them off until they are clear again without rinsing the soap.... this prevents the fogging. I use contacts so I haven't tested it, so one of you try and report back, plz hehe.

Fold a little piece of paper towel and stick it at the top of the mask. It absorbs extra moisture and helps with fogging

I'll tell my husband to try this. I'm tired of hearing him complaining. I get it, but you still gotta wear the mask!

I got new glasses today and I'm hoping their heaviness will weigh the masks down better than my last pair. Fingers crossed!

Saw a hack that WORKS: Pull the edge of the mask over eyeglasses or sunglasses. They tend not to steam on the outside of the lenses. I couldn't find any explanation as to why.

Big problemo! I recently learned to loop the elastic before putting around ears. It tightens the seal below your eyes, and lets more moist air escape towards your ears.

Truthfully, if your glasses fog up, the mask isn't fit properly.

Insert a little piece of wire to bend the mask around your nose. It helps a lot :) also, I place my glasses a bit lower, then they don't fog :)

If you pinch the nose more all the air will come out the top of your nose and not onto your glasses.

I have to wear exactly the same masks at work and I'm glad I'm working in a room with limited access so I can remove it while I'm working. Otherwise, I'd have to code through fog.

You need to really pinch the mask around nose to reduce this. There is also a solution swimmers use on their goggles you can use on your eye glasses for this

Just place the edge of the mask on the outside of the glasses. I know it won’t give you that perfect fitting to your nose area but solved my foggy problem when I used to work at the dental place.

Unfortunately then the mask cannot do its job. If you pinch the upper part to snugly fit your nose, it will.

It is such a serious problem that doctors in my country and police officials have insisted that it is not necessary for drivers to wear the mask while driving, as it poses serious safety risks. And yet I still see people at stoplights wearing glasses and masks and trying to look OVER the steamy glasses...

Far as I recall it reopened once, and that wasn't really a reopening since the original park never really went into business. And then it ran successfully for years - at least long enough for people to get *bored* with dinosaurs! - before another incident occurred.

This joke presumes that Trump can actually read and understand words that have more than two syllables. He finished reading the first word and then got stuck. Now he's just looking at it to try to convince people that he's reading.
