The pandemic has taken over the world and while health professionals and government authorities are working tirelessly to keep people as safe as possible, they are doing their best to make a difference as well. Washing their hands, social distancing, and creating jokes about the situation online, of course. It's one of the most popular coping mechanisms, helping everyone to handle their pandemic-related fears and anxieties. "The more we laugh at something, the less scary it looks," one board game developer has said.

From poking fun at our online orders to a moment of silence for our ever-worsening hairstyles, Bored Panda has collected the best coronavirus jokes this week, and for those who can't get enough of them, check out our previous compilations: part 1part 2part 3part 4part 5part 6part 7, and part 8.

Joke aside, I've been asking the same question. I've been reading so many of those news articles, blogs, even here on BP where people find it so hard to be confined and I'm like "what's so hard?!", it's just staying home! Sleep, watch TV, surf the web, read a book etc, it's not that hard!

Very true. It's not hard at all but I feel for the people to whom home is not a home but a place from which to escape. For myself, I am grateful that I have a home where I'm happy.

Truth hurts!!! People complain when they are at work and when they have to go to work......we get attitudes and NO customer service.......NOW they are complaining because they have to stay home. I just don’t get it! 🤦🏽‍♀️

When they fix the broken system we have now, maybe more people will vote. Hillary got three million more votes than the cheeto and still lost. Those three million people went out and voted for nothing. That's not democracy, it's a rigged system.

actually that would be correct if election day was on a Sunday or a Public holiday. But I wouldn't expect most people to understand how the US election are organized to make it hard for low income and poor people to vote. Since it is held on a working day many millions of poor working class Americans cannot take a day off work to vote. But I am sure many middle class Americans also worked and decided not to vote also? But I get the joke... kind of?

Not only that but before this virus came along usually you'd hear a co-worker say they wished they stayed at home.

Funny. But the reality is, the election is on a weekday, so a lot of them were at work. Employers are supposed to allow time off for voting, but it's not always encouraged.

No one works 24 hours a day. So everyone who really wanted to vote could have done so. But the Democrats were arrogant enough to think that a maniac like Trump could never win. The best part is that they will pull the same stunt again this year. "Oh come on. No one in his right mind is going to vote for Trump again? No, I'll just have a latte macchiato and call it a day...." The next day : "S**t, Where's that "Not my President" sign from 4 years ago..."

I love this tweet BUT the user didn't exist prior to 4/17 and has spewed 86,000 tweets? It took me a few years to reach 100,000 tweets. I hope they keep up with the good work though.

Just think, if they didn't stay at home Trump would have got 105 million more votes & you TDS morons would have even more to parrot to each other for easy upvotes.

Unfortunately, we can't eliminate stress and anxiety from our lives. Especially during these uncertain times. We can, however, develop skills to manage them. "A sense of humor can be an amazing line of defense when it comes to coping with stress," Elizabeth Scott, MS, who's a wellness coach specializing in stress management and quality of life, wrote in Very Well Mind.

"Developing a sense of humor about life's challenges is a great place to start," Scott said. "A sense of humor will help you to build resilience to stress as well as improve your overall physical and emotional health. It will also enable you to bond with others, look at things in a different way, normalize your experience, and keep your relationships strong."

So, if we're already doing everything in our power to get through the pandemic, chances are that joking about it will only make things better.

"When you're in the middle of a difficult situation, it can seem overwhelming. Taking a step back, however, and viewing your situation as an observer can help you see your situation with a new lens. This is called reframing—and it works," Scott said.

Truth. The real question is: "Are we going to do anything about it?" Step one would be to vote out Trump, Mitch, and the rest of the GOP come November.

Far as I recall it reopened once, and that wasn't really a reopening since the original park never really went into business. And then it ran successfully for years - at least long enough for people to get *bored* with dinosaurs! - before another incident occurred.

No. He wasn't. He's an imbecile and so emotionally-r******d that he can't even take responsibility or ownership of the things he says. Trump believes that personal integrity is a flaw.

This joke presumes that Trump can actually read and understand words that have more than two syllables. He finished reading the first word and then got stuck. Now he's just looking at it to try to convince people that he's reading.

Why order a sandwhich? It's easy to make yourself. Order something fancy at least to justify the insane pricing.
