It's an adjective. To even say you are single you are still describing yourself. If I said you are yellow or you are blue does blue or yellow become the subject ? No, it doesn't YOU is still the subject and blue is the adjective. Yes it can be used as both a noun and an adjective but in this case this chick was stupid
A noun is a person place or thing. I am still in school so I would know, and a man is a noun so yeah.. And an adjective is describing a word, single man. Single is the adjective , and a man is a noun so it's BOTH a noun and an adjective, gets your facts straight people.

So.... just why was Caleb so upset about her comment when its true? Guys who think women only belong in the kitchen are truly horrible men and deserve to be single. If he's THAT upset about it then it just shows that he too is one of those who think women belong in the kitchen. If he didn't, then he wouldn't have taken it so personal.
