Most parents have used the whole spelling out secret words trick with toddlers, but did you know that by the time your little kid turns one, they probably understand about 70 words. Even though they can only make nonsense sounds back, they are listening, so keep up the "baby talk."

The terrible twos filled with arguing, tantrums and defiance. But what makes two so special? Two-year olds have more than 100 trillion synapses, or brain connections, which is the most they will ever have in their lifetime. Instead of fighting with them, use this time to teach them, because they have a lot more going up there than you do. In fact, adults only have half of the neural pathways that a two-year-old has.

Ever heard people say they are throwing an elaborate birthday party for their one-year-old - you know- for the memories? Well as it turns out children’s memories aren't fully operational before the age of three. While stimulating your babies brain is still important for development, they probably aren't going to be re-telling those stories of the time you hauled them around Disneyland at two-years-old.

Peek-a-boo may seem like a silly joke, but for pre-schoolers this magic trick is serious stuff. Their brains have yet to develop logic and perspective, so when they put their hands over their eyes and you disappear, they really think that you can't see them because they can't see you. A much less strenuous game of hide-and-seek don't you think?

As much as you might laugh at what your hilarious kids do, babies and kids take the cake when it comes to getting a kick out of laugh. These prime stand-up comedy audience members can laugh up to 300 times a day. Whereas adults typically laugh at the most, about 20 times a day. So the next time your feeling blue take a tip from babies and look at your feet - apparently they are hilarious.

When my kids were little, my daughter had a fish tank in her room. I walked into her room and saw her fish laying on the floor, not moving and looked like it had been there awhile. Noticed the net and realized my son had apparently gone "fishing" I didn't want my daughter to get mad at my son, so I picked the fish up and placed it in the tank so she would think it just died. It started swimming! My son's name is Everett.

You remove the dead fish Next morning you tell the sweet innocent child the fish had to go to the vet because it was sick :/ Treatment lasts as long as you find an identical - ish replacement You then inform sweet pure child the fish is feeling much better but the vet said it got sick because it was out of the water for a while =)

I hate that this poor kid was allowed to have a fish in his room and was not taught that it needs water to live. Now this living creature has had a slow and horrific death because of the family’s ignorance. It’s disgusting. Not cute or funny.

Never ever have an aquarium in a kid's bedroom. When i was five, my family bought me an aquarium, which was installed in my room. Over the night, believing the fish were cold, i raised the temperature. The following morning, my parents discovered the horror of what happens when fish are cooked. My mother forced my dad to clean the mess, as he was the one who thougth it was a good idea to do this.

Why would you take a photo of something so sad? Terrible parenting to give any kid a pet and not explain that pet's needs. If the kid is too young to remember or understand those needs, then they're too young to be alone with the pet.

Funny? It just shows that stupidity is a family tradition. Pet a fish... How come a child thinking fish like to be petted, or touched at all, has a fish? Lions were sold out, hm?

I always wonder how stupid adults are made ... maybe it's kids who get presented with animals and not told how to treat them? ... same with that crappy nemo movie (... f**k Disney anyway - whatever they touch turns out f****d up...), that told dumb children - children of dumb adults, who are children of dumb adults - that fish are free when flushed into the toilet ... thousands of stupid little shitheads made thousands of fish die in human's s**t ... but it's a nice family movie, hihihi SOOOO CUUUUTE - but, god beware you see the tiniest glimpse of a tit on TV... Teach your children before you leave innocent creatures in their responsibility. At least if you want your children to remain innocent for a while...

Rather making fancy stories up to please the child. the best thing would have been to teach the child even the animals feel pain & sufferings as same as we do. Never to harm any animal because they love their lives too. Kindness & compassion will lead the life to a right path. but if you teach them differently the children grow up to be unkind & uncaring as well..

What a moronic family, that kid is a future serial killer and the parents are less than useless, sheesh, and they seem to find this funny for some reason. Probably not so funny for the fish that slowly suffocated to death in the dirty, sticky hands of an idiotic child.
