Our pets can, just like us, be assholes. Dogs are a bit clumsy, mischievous, and often motivated by greed. They will rip up your couch cushions just because it's fun to do. But there's no malice involved and they really do love you, they are just idiots sometimes.
Cats, on the other hand, are something else entirely. Sometimes it seems like they know exactly what they are doing, and they take a kind of perverse pleasure in pissing you off. They are cold, calculating assholes, and they aren't shy about it! Why else would they poop in your sink or sit on your pizza?

I actually figured out about the power button on top BEFORE I bought a case. As soon as I saw the button my first thought was, 'Yeah, cat's going to jump on that and make me lose my work or corrupt something so my computer won't boot.' Then I bought the case with the button on top because cat can't tell me what to buy!!
Me too I have to use the child lock by pressing two buttons together otherwise my cats will reprogram my washing machine or turn it off🤣😹

Yeah, that was MY mistake. Now the computer is UNDER the desk with hardly no room to put my hand to reach the buttons. Cat's newest thing is to park his rump in front my monitor--and give me the same look as the one in the picture.
I ended up laying a hardcover book over the power button the third time this happened.
Yeah, I put something overtop of it as well. My cat actually shut the computer down right when I was in the middle of a gaming session with my friends... That was a pain.

My roommate kept his tower on the floor. Our cat loved to sit on top of it because warm. The power button was on the top of the tower. Need I say more?

My little girl kitty recently knocked my laptop off the laptop table and killed it the screen is a complete mess, thankfully it's old and was malfunctioning any way so I wasn't devastated when she totalled it and I thankfully had files saved elsewhere

My Siamese has recently discovered the power buttons on our new W/D. Which are in view from our bedroom. "3 am? No problem! Oh, you turned that off? Here, let me get that for you. Why so crabby?"
Don't have it on your keyboard ether as they learn how to shut it off from there as well.
Thankfully ours has a panel that slides over the button, now if we could get them to quit walking on the damn power strip...

Yep. My computer has one as well. And my cat has already made a pest of herself by shutting it off in use. I guess they're meant to sit on the floor, thus it makes it easier to push the power button, but... mine sits on my desk, so... yeah.

What I cannot understand is why all these people allow their cats to get on the counter, table or food. That's just totally disgusting! You can train cats, people. I've had cats my whole life and I've never had a cat on the counter, on my table or anywhere near my food. I also do not have cats that claw the furniture.
Some of these are hilarious. And some of these just p**s me off. Cat doesn't something like sit on food, and they take a picture instead of taking care of the problem.
One day my sister and I couldn't find her kitten. We hunted for 4 hours, then eventually decided to have a break and some juice. Opened the fridge and out she pops, freshly chilled after a hot day. More recently I had a cat that would sit on my chest and suck on my beard at night. You eventually get used to waking up with a sticky face that smells like a*s.
Funnily enough, I had to stop my cat from eating my homework yesterday!
