I saw this or something very much like it when I visited NZ a couple years back. While it is fun to blame Trump people have had a negative view of US for a very long time. It probably doesn't help that most Americans think they come from the best country in the world with no substantiation of that claim and everyone else likes to think they also live in the best country in the world also with no real way to back it up. We are all just a bunch of contentious a*s holes poking fun at each other. Remember this sign doesn't apply to you, it's meant for the other Americans, the s****y ones. You are probably one of the good ones. But there in lies the problem with a homogenous mentality in that there is no way to separate the good from the bad. Until we learn to be individuals and take responsibility for ourselves we will all be responsible for things like this.
