Roots of April fools day are not known to this day, though there are some variations from where it stems. For example, it might be the April 1st in 1698 when many Londoners were tricked into coming to see "the Lions washed." It also might be as early 1381, when Geoffrey Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales were published, in which a depiction of Chauntecleer tricked by a fox took place on April the 1st. It doesn't really matter where this tradition comes from since it has gained worldwide popularity and gave us a chance to laugh with April fools pranks.
Best April fools pranks probably come from newscasters and newspapers. BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) once tricked the whole nation with their funny prank that spaghetti grows on trees in Switzerland. Or the hilariously good prank that Taco Bell played, assuring that they have bought the Liberty Bell, now to be known as Taco Liberty Bell. The best pranks, though, come in good spirits while causing no harm for the receiver (except being shamefully tricked, that is).

you put a clipboard on top then flip it over then take the clipboard out
Put the glasses on a counter or table that has a raised edge; otherwise it's too easy to slide them off the edge into a bucket without spilling.
Make it more better: put phone in plastic bag-then put the plastic bag/phone inn the water cup and flip it. call the phone that in the cup and they will try to get their phone!!!! OMG
You would get some cups and place ice on the counter and place the cups over it and wait for the ice to melt
I like the idea but how do you get it upside- down in the first place?
get a card board peice of...thing and then put warer in a cup (half full) then flip it upside down very carefully then get the card board out from under the cup
Anyone else notice the kettle cord behind the glasses? Maybe not the best place to pull this prank!
Easily counterable by moving the cup a bow or another cup and let the water slowly leak to the bowl
So, do you put a lid on the glass, turn it over onto the table, then slip the lid out or something? Spilling before the victim spills?
You get glad wrap (cling wrap) and place it on top of glasses full of water and tip them upside down, then slide the cling/glad wrap off <3 (ive done it before and its so awesome!)

Fill the glass with water, cover it with wet papper, then flip it over and put on the table upside down and then pull the papper out

It is 11:40 3/31/2016. I put my moms keys in jello and laid out 3 water filled cups. My brother and I put flour in her hair dryer and she nearly caught us putting coffee in the back of the toilet.
Happy Loki's day (April Fools) to everyone! I plan to commit to this April fools by creating an army of pranks for my poor victims! Mwehehehehe
