Humans might make all the rules in this world, but that doesn't mean animals have to follow them, and as you can see from this hilarious list compiled by Bored Panda, some animals seem to enjoy deliberately breaking every damn rule they can find. LOL, Ultrasonic sound waves are very directional, and they obviously forgot to add some of them pointed upward. Ha, that'll show the makers. :D

I've never heard of a bird repellent! Why and where would you need such a thing?

Where I live there are certain kinds of birds that will invade shopping centers or movie theaters in large numbers and build their nests above entrances. Then they either poop on shoppers or dive bomb people as they walk in and out. As you can imagine it's not good for business, so they install all kinds of deterrents including sounds to keep the birds away.

I think this is more of a "Win" if anything. - I bet this bird figured out that it would be a safe place to build a nest as this alarm keeps other predators & birds away. Also being so close to the source of the Alarm *Probably* means that the high frequency noises aren't as noticeable/ noisy (AKA; the nest is probably sheltered from the noise too)

The bird broke it, good job, the ultrasound-hearing monsters won't be deaf.

Birds can't read, so what did you expect if you give them a perfectly high shelf that is inaccessible to most intruders?

Nah! In fact, the "Bird repeller" is the pigeon: a special breed, called "Cannibal pigeon"!

What if the bird actually like the noise, or whatever is broadcast? In the same way yodeling bluegrass banjo music has an audience.

My border collie mix used to do the same thing with the bedroom doorway. The ex was allergic so the bedroom was a no animal zone. The dog kept the cat out, then would put one paw over the threshold. When I'd ask "what are you doing" he'd pull his paw back, then roll over on his back like "nothing mama!"
