... hope there isn’t a follow through! Had a pig growing up - I loved that little guy. We called him “meat” - that was his purpose for us. I was told it wasn’t a real name. Id play and snuggle with him in the shed. Sweet, smart little pig. Got home from school one day and saw dad and neighbors out on the ice (pond) hunched over a splash of pink and red. I was so mad. I never ate a bit of him. Not a vegan, then or now, but i really got attached to that pig. Can’t eat duck because of cherished family pets. I used to love to fish until I felt like a monster hooking a worm. I feel like such an omnivoric hypocrite
