Elephants are super intelligent and sea lions very entertaining. A match made in heaven.
Even if it were to be a coincidence, as there can never be proof, it is still absolutely special. I choose to think your friend popped in. What a wonderful way to honour your friend, keeping his favourite things together as a memorial to his life. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, and and I love the sign. It shows that people who work there care.

I spent over a month trying to get the two bats who live in our (sealed off to the inside, now) attic to understand that hanging out in our bathroom / bedroom / kitchen would be bad for them, considering the number of terriers and cats in residence. I had to have both of them removed 2 or 3x apiece. I think I nearly deafened the pest control guy shouting NO at him when he asked me if I wanted him to kill the one he'd just gotten out of my cupboards.
Apparently, people often ask him to kill bats. Given the number of mosquitoes this year, and given the fact that out of 6 people I'm the only one in this house that doesn't have a histamine reaction to bug bites, I'll keep my bats in my belfry, THANKYOUVERYMUCH!!! I've named them Boris and Natasha and I go out every evening at dusk with tea to watch them fly around.
Load More Replies...I can't say I love them but that was a very sweet thing to do.
Load More Replies...Lived in Westport, CT years ago, private beach, small parking lot next to beach. One summer a bird made a nest on the ground in a parking space. Someone made a sign "No parking, Nesting bird". We all watched the bird and her nest, until one day there were hatchlings stumbling around, still no parking. Eventually they matured and flew away. The sign did not surprise me; perhaps we surprise ourselves when we do something recognized as kind, the right thing to do.
I've found two bats sleeping on my balcony. I always move very quietly around them so as not to wake them up. I know how difficult it is sleeping during the noisy day.
If I noticed a bat sleeping, I'd definitely let it sleep - I love bats!
Cool! A little will sleep anywhere. I hope his found his family once he was rested.
There was a little bat who lived above the front door of an apartment that we had, and we never had insects in the apartment. He did a good job.
I see things like this, I know there are still good people out there.
I spent over a month fighting with the 2 bats who live in our (sealed to the inside, now) attic. They kept insisting they could hang around in my bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen, I insisted the number of pets in the house meant that would be dangerous for them. Removed the same 2 bats from the inside 2x apiece or so. Now they can't get in the house and we can't access the attic. Fine by me. I go out at dusk to watch them fly. One of the pest control people who removed them from my kitchen asked me if I wanted him to kill the bats. I think I deafened him temporarily when I spun around and shouted no at him. Apparently some people want them killed so they don't come back in. Are you F-ing crazy?!? Given the number of mosquitoes and the fact that out of 6 people in this house I'm the only one not allergic to bug bites?!?! I'll keep my bats in my belfry, THANKYOUVERYMUCH!!!
Uh...NOT good folks; it's probably rabid. Bats aren't going to choose to sleep out in the open like that normally.
No, just sleeping it off so he can eat mosquitoes all night.
Load More Replies...He's not albino. Wings are brown. Just sunlight on his fur.
Load More Replies...This is one of the greatest photographs ever, on so many levels!
I think this is a bet: which of them will succed to poo on your head when you will get out...
For dogs being licked is a sign of submission by the licker. You got old deerie right where you want it.

This is what I came for! This right here is why I love life and animals! They are more human than we give them credit and are capable of more love than we as humans will ever be, those raw emotions are what should unite us.
This is why I have this app. I suffer from depression and the positivity on here helps me feel slightly human.
