Does anyone recognize / know what the currency and amount of fuel here is?
Mexican pesos, price is per liter. An American dollar gets around 19 pesos right now. It's pretty expensive at around $4 per gallon. Pemex stands for Mexican petroleum.
Load More Replies...Converted as best as I could, in the Netherlands, yesterday gas was about: $6,69 per gallon. Had to convert Euro to Dollar and how many liters there are in a gallon. If any other people are over here and can convert it better, please correct me. I'm not experienced in converting these things. -Euro/Liter combination: Yesterday it was €1,56 per liter in The Netherlands.-
basic: one us gallon is cca 3.8 liter so one us gallon costs 1.56*3.8= cca 6 euros in Netherlands. one euro is cca 1.15 usd so 1 gallon in the netherlands costs 6*1.15=6.9 dollars. hope this helps... ^^

The thing is that we are one of the major producers of petroleum, we have as much or even more petroleum than Dubi but corruption has made the prices of gasoline skyrocket.
Load More Replies...the leaking pipes coupled with the citizens drilling tap holes to steal gas had caused a horrible problem. The Mex gov'mt asked Red Adair to leave and threw his report into the trash. This corruption and laziness is why their gas prices are so high. I paid $1.67 the past several weeks for my gas. Time to hit the road and travel to see the area!
The Mexican government solicited American oil companies to build plants there to process oil from their ground. Then they Nationalized it some years later. The Mexicans were so corrupt that the cost is prohibitive, which is why Mexicans living near any Texas border will drive over here to get gas. Some years back a series of Explosions 1 block apart ripped up a Monterey. Seems the morons in the utilities put in a U in the pipes of the sewers when they crossed the lines for the water. Methane collected in the pipes at the U's, and downline, someone lit a match ad dropped it in. The Mex. gov'ment sent in Red Adair, the famous oil fire fighter to figure out what happened, as they thought it had something to do with the Pemex processing plant. Red found that processed gasoline was about 3" deep on the land around the plant from the seeping leaks in their equipment. The soil was saturated with it. The Mexicans running the plant did not understand gas rushing through the pipes loosened bolts
Here in London, UK around £1.20 a litre, which works out to be $5.62 a gallon!
Pesos, 1 US dollar= 18.60 pesos and well yknow Mexico es una kaka and were all broke over here
Well, Pemex is in Mexico. They have a pipeline that someone tried to tap into, which caught fire and killed something like 66 people, injuring many more. Terrible events, however I am sure this meme was made before the event happened.
not just tapping into, not tightening the bolts the products rush through. Any good plant operator has a team of men who go out and tighten those bolts on a weekly basis. There is gasoline 3" deep soaking the soil in that Plant. It is a tinderbox. The explosions were from stupidity when the utility workers made the sewer lines go under the water lines at all the street intersections, causing methane buildup, and the consequent explosions thought to be from the Pemex plant. Red Adair was called in to investigate and saw the gasoline 3" deep in the soil around the plant. Mex. gov'mt tried to cover that up. Corruption is what makes their gas so high. Mexico has every natural resource AMerica does. Why is it a 3rd world country? Corruption!

A gallon is almost 4 liters, correct? If so, we're currently at R$ 4,50 per liter, would make 18 reais. Dollar went down a bit last I checked, at 3,80. So we're paying around 4,75 dollars per gallon here (and dying)

Aulin is a pain killer drug (nimesulide). Wikipedia says about it: Nimesulide is similar in gastrointestinal safety to other NSAIDs. Due to concerns about the risk of liver toxicity, nimesulide has been withdrawn from market in several countries (Spain, Finland, Belgium, Ireland, and United States). Liver problems have resulted in both deaths and the need for transplantation. This may occur in as little as three days after starting the medication'.
