i think you can cancel it for nine months but then you have this annoying pop-up ad that won't go away for 18 years.

I want to start a women's magazine called "Period". And some months I'd send it out late just to freak out my subscribers.

Sometimes again doesn't mean literally, "another one." Sometimes it's 'Again, when was your last one? Seems like it was just 2 weeks ago," or something or other.

I cancelled my period subscription by having a merina coil installed (can't think of a better word); one of the best decisions I made. I occasionally get some cramps and spotting, but honestly for years I had nothing, and my periods were really heavy and painful before. I know that contraceptives aren't for everyone, however; for a variety of reasons.

How are some men so completely uneducated about periods and a womans anatomy? I don't get it, we were taught everything at school when we turned 9.

Till you find out doctors will refuse to do it unless medically necessary, because they think you'll change your mind about having children. Ugh. I'm 40 and my kids are grown. Just let me get rid of it already.

I read somewhere, years ago, when I was young enough to care, that the 'pill' - oral contraceptives - came, in a monthly prescription, with 4 placebos that allowed the period to happen, but if it didn't, a woman wouldn't have periods. At all. Does anyone have experience with that?

Yup! I started skipping the row of placebo pills and my periods have stopped. I of course asked my gyno if that was okay and she okayed it. My periods used to be so painful I'd lay in bed all day and every single part of my body would hurt. It helped my mental illness because I had extreme PMS. Now I recently became disabled and I'm grateful I don't have periods because it takes a lot out of me to trudge back and forth to the bathroom and I wouldn't want to have to do so way more than usual. I've had a few breakthrough bleeding, but it was never heavy and there were no cramps. It's been years since that happened though. I highly recommend it to anyone with severe periods with bad cramps or migraines or vomiting. Ask your doctor first though!

If you're looking for contraceptives and hate having periods, the Mirena (hormonal IUD) might be worth looking into. Quite a lot of women stop having periods while they use Mirena (some websites say 20%, some say 40% or 50%). I absolutely loved it.

I've heard this one too, but in his defense, my periods are a week of psychological symptoms during pms added. So it really does occur pretty close together. I wish I could unsubscribe.

We need a small info brochure, that we get for free, with all the absolute mindless basics about women's bodies, to hand out to our new boyfriends. With a test at the end. So at least you know with what level of stupid you're dealing.

Well, you can technically put the subscription on hold with "the Pill". Problem is, it comes with various side-effects, ranging from mild to lethal.

You actually can "cancel" your period if you really wanted to. For me, it is called Norethindrone Acetate.

I'm apparently in the process of unsubscribing (eight months since the last one, four months and I'm officially at menopause, age 53). VERY glad of that, too.

Are Women Funnier Than Men?

It’s a question as old as time. There’s a stereotype rooted in history that women are less funny than men. This stereotype not only undermines the comedic talents of women but also limits the diversity of perspectives in the comedy landscape.

Women have faced challenges breaking into male-dominated fields, including comedy. However, many talented women have challenged and shattered these stereotypes, proving that humor knows no gender.

We believe there’s a funny bone in every person (pun intended). So if you have a comedic genius, let it shine, irrespective of the stereotypes.

How Do I Create Viral Tweets?

There’s no perfect formula for creating funny tweets of the week. It all comes down to engaging with your audience and being a part of the community. Audiences appreciate wit and humor. So, write funny and relatable content, which will likely be shared more. Also, memes and jokes can be powerful if they align with your brand.

If you want to join the ranks of these funny women on Twitter, then make sure to stay up to date on trending topics, memes, and hashtags. Join conversations around popular events or discussions, and bring your humor to capture attention.

Telling a funny story is also another way of getting more followers. People often relate to and share stories. So, craft tweets that tell humorous anecdotes or give a witty take on everyday experiences.
