Wow, he seems like a really nice friendly guy. I could not resist remembering Avril Lavigne photos with fans where she never touches the people and her smile looks like she is going to throw up.
You need to watch the "Talking with Chris Hardwick" talk show when he had Elijah Wood on, he is so down to Earth it Crazy! Love him & would like to meet him someday. He did the same thing with Chris at the end of the show that he did to the girl in the cover photo of this article. Hilarious.

My friends' daughter once saw him in Tokyo, then she texted to her dad that Frodo Baggins was taller than she expected

I question the premise of the title, because John Barrowman's fan pics can certainly give these a run for their money but still a fun gallery.
And after perusing these I'm left pondering 'How many check shirts does this guy bloody well own?!'
He has been acting from childhood, and still he is modest and smiling to his fans. He earned both his celeb status, and fanbase with his personality, wich is so very rare
