Rebecca took thousands of images from Fukushima and she asked me to put together a small video to show some poignant signs of the tragedy and the aftermath as it stands today.
To help create a small journey through the streets of Fukushima and see the desolation through her eyes. I decided to take the images and create an emotive engagement using sound and images with live elements. I also utilized projection 3D techniques for the shots. I particularly like the way there are no humans in shot. This adds to the realism and desolation of a place frozen in time. The project took around 1 full week to complete.
