This Man’s Last Message To His Friend Before The Las Vegas Shooting Will Change The Way You Treat Others
You’ve probably been told at least a hundred times throughout life to always tell your family and friends that you love them, because you never know when those could be your last words to them. Well, if you’ve ever doubted that life really can change in an instant, this post will drive the point home once and for all.
Yesterday, a man uploaded a text conversation he shared with a friend on Friday, September 29th, two days before she and her husband were due to attend the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. After the festival became the site of America’s deadliest mass shooting in history, the man rushed to his phone, and realized what the last text he had sent to his friend was. “I almost made a huge mistake,” he captioned the shared screenshots.

A man just uploaded this conversation with his friend who was on her way to Vegas just before the shooting
“What could have been the last message I ever sent one of my best friends,” he captioned the screenshot
Thankfully, his friend survived, but his post stands to drive home the following important point:
Other users, some strongly identifying with his story, backed him up
“Tell your friends you love them. I almost made a huge mistake”

Share on FacebookThe only HUGE MISTAKE here, was reading this piece of clickbait. Seriously BP, I'd be more upset if this was the last conversation I ever read.
The site has become so hacky with constant clickbait headlines. It used to be a really good, normal site. Now it's just annoying
Load More Replies...It was a joke and I'm sure it got a chuckle from the recipient. Even had he been killed it would not be a Huge Mistake. Should we all now constantly text 'I love you so much' to everybody, just in case they die shortly after?
"Guy Almost Makes A Huge Mistake" I almost make huge mistakes all the time, who cares? Why is this even on BP?
god dang title. should be illegal to use such misleading wording.
I'd be 100% okay if something like that was the last thing I texted my friend. That's how we talk to each other and they know I love them like brothers. I'd be more shocked if that WASN'T the last thing I sent.
The LAST TEXT makes it seem like someone died, this is very VERY low for clicks. Have a care.
If he panicked why would he send her a text instead of calling her? Hmm
The las vegas shooting is a tragedy, but I'm not buying that this particular conversation was real. Perfect grammar and syntax, full and complete sentences throughout the entire conversation? When you're worried for a friend and his family? Clickbait by the original poster to exploit a tragedy.
No...it won't change the way I treat others. And I'm pretty sure if the man's friend had been killed, it wouldn't have changed how he treated his other friends in the future. It's a freaking joke! Yes, it's important to tell those important to use that we love them and yes, it's important to treat all people with respect and empathy, but really, we can't joke with our friends anymore because they might die and we'd feel bad??? F THAT NOISE. Life is meant to be lived free and out there, not living in a cave because we or someone we love might die today.
Nah. The usual macho friendliness, and sure to be taken that way and enjoyed. Don't be so literal.
"I'll just live my s****y, sucky life without a best friend cuz she wouldn't be there when I needed her." This Would've been my last words to my former best friend of 20 years before she called me a burden and blocked me. If I was successful at ending my life that year, those words would've had so much more meaning. I don't regret surviving- but I do regret not even having a chance to say goodbye.
It was the deadliest mass shooting in Modern history, not in history.
