I was the one who ended up telling my brother's fiancé that he got sent away to "reform school" and that's where he officially graduated from high school. They'd been together for a LONG time at that point and I assumed she already knew. 🤷♀️ Apparently not - she said he got sketchy every time she asked him about high school. He wasn't mad at me though. And she did know about his past as a juvenile delinquent. It ended up setting him straight so it wasn't some awful secret. The moral of the story is don't lie to your loved ones. But if you DO want a secret kept, make sure you tell the people who know about it! 😂
