Guy Surprised to Find Two Foxes On His Roof, Then He Realizes How They Got There
While Andy Carver was just waking up on Monday morning, a pair of foxes was just settling down for a nap – on his roof.
“My wife had just opened the blinds and that was the first thing I saw. I was like, how did they get up there?” He told local reporters. After checking out the scene, the answer was clear as day. Breckenridge, Colorado has received a ton of snow in the last week – almost 4 feet, to be exact – and these clever cuties climbed on top of it like stairs. The pictures are both comical and adorable, as the foxes can be seen curling up around their bushy tails to stay warm. Walking through so much snow gets tiring, after all!
The red fox is a usual suspect in Colorado, and though they have an undeserved reputation of being dangerous, most foxes are unlikely to harm anyone as long as they aren’t bothered. They’re comfortable around human habitats, and just like these two unexpected guests, they don’t mind hopping a roof if there’s a chance to find some heat.
It’s hard out there when you’re living the fox lifestyle, and sometimes you just have to take it easy on the nearest roof. Let’s hope these two had a safe trip back to the woods. (h/t: Fox31)

Share on FacebookI'm more impressed by the steep snowy climb up the room, that they did it without slipping!
Oh come on let us in, we can take care of any mice you may have. Oh no mice? Cats rabbits? We're not picky.
we live in Maryland and have recently seen foxes ..the whole family, climbing ,several ways ,to the roof top in the middle of the night.. we think they are hiding from predators.ie. Coyotes
Saw a fox from 5 ft away in BC Canada. I turned around and it was watching me, pure magic.
The thick coat of snow indicates that your roof is very well insulated. The other roofs, which show shingles, indicate that heat is escaping from the house and melting the snow.
