In these times of political uncertainty, changing weather patterns, and growing global insecurity, it's good to know that one thing you can always rely on in this increasingly crazy world is food. Right? Wrong! Because as you can see from the pictures below, you can't even trust that anymore. Compiled by Bored Panda, the list contains some truly shocking examples of how food continues to betray us hungry humans on a daily basis. No wonder we don't know who or what to believe anymore! Don't forget to vote for the most outrageous offender.

Frankly, it is good that the European Union has regulations in this regard. Often they arw ovee thw top, but all those cases that are not obviously production errors (like the one ravioli) would lead to rhe companiea getting trouble with the authorities.
Oops, sorry for typos. Also a case for the authorities...
Load More Replies...I thought it was common knowledge in this day and age that there is only like a 1% chance of ever getting what is portrayed in a picture. And what crazy person would ever expect a $5 frozen entree to look like a freshly prepared meal from a 5 star restaurant at $50 or more a course?
Many of these are just blatant false product displays, not allowed in many other countries. Time the USA had a revolution for something better for it's people.

#182 was not a food lie. The picture on the package 100% matches what was inside.
As we are customers we have to fight for our rights - You got not the same what you ordered in the restaurants? Just say they have to prepare one more or you will not pay. You bought something and got something completely different? Try to get your money back showing them pictures or just do not buy this brand again. Not selling will push them to change policy of preparing products. It is our fault that it is like that. You know that this company is cheating on the nuts in cereals? Why you are still buying this?

Load More Replies...Ok, apart from some countries clearly needing stricter regulations, I find two things about this post really shocking: First, the insane amount of packaging for cheap c**p and second, that people are actually willing to eat that industrial waste.
I am so confused by most of these, this would not be possible in Australia unless just an error. But i feel like i have been lied to more in movies and tv shows about factories and how things come off the production line, because you see them sorting, picking out the bad etc...so how in the world would a pizza be missing so much topping, and how in the world is there such obvious criminal type shenanigans going on with fillings and packaging ?
People sue companies when they put their cats into the owen but not when said companies actually really f**k them over?
