Guy Documents His First Week Of Work At Target, And It Couldn’t Get More Hilarious

If you thought that working at a retail store as a cashier is boring, we’ve got news for you. Well, actually Tumblr user kimpossibooty does. He recently uploaded a very detailed and hilarious story about his first week working at Target, and the journal entries are pure gold.

From selling a bra to the mom of a sixteen-year-old girl on his first day at work who was cringing the entire time, to selling a man thirty light bulbs with a coupon, who afterward says he did not need thirty light bulbs, he just likes coupons and a myriad of other funny accidents. Customer service can be both hilarious and straight-up strange at the same time. Keep on scrolling to read the entries of the whole work week – I promise you won’t be disappointed! Actually, you might even be running to Target for some weird people-watching yourself.

Kimpossibooty - the people buying 100 spiral notebooks or folders were school teachers. As teachers we find that there are often kids whose parents cannot get the school supplies needed for the classroom, so teachers try to find the discounts and purchase them to give to kids for free.

Continue to write thinks down. One day you might write a book. My daughter is a nurse practitioner and midwife. Oh, the stories she has. I keep telling her to write a book. She says no one would believe her. But I do think it would be entertaining. I enjoyed this person's step by step first week at Target.

I know I'm going to be hated, but the only thing believable are the crazy guests. No way did he get called into HR about compliments on his first day. He could write a book, but from the power of imagination not observation. This was not funny at all, but then he's a cashier. I'd like to hear his stories after a day of working logistics. He would not have a sunny disposition afterwards. Most team members don't come back on their second day. I know I worked it for 2 yrs.
