Fiona The Hippo Photobombs Couple’s Engagement Pics, And Now They’re So Much Better

Hayley Roll was on a day-trip to the Cincinnati Zoo with her boyfriend, Nick Kelble, to visit viral superstar Fiona the Hippo when something amazing happened. Roll handed her phone to someone who agreed to take a photo of them, and when she turned back around, her partner of one year was down on one knee with a ring in his hand.
While the moment was infinitely sweet and adorable, the couple got the best surprise ever when they went back to look at their camera reel. Fiona, the diva hippo extraordinaire whom they had come to the zoo to see, had shamelessly photobombed their engagement – neck rolls and all. “We’re so happy Fiona could be there on our special day,” Roll wrote on Instagram. There’s no word yet on whether or not Fiona plans to crash the wedding as well, but we think the chances could be high.
Fiona is no stranger to the spotlight. She first made headlines back in January, when she managed to survive being born six weeks early thanks to the help of a dedicated medical team, and came out of it looking adorable as ever.
